  • I have read many negative comments about Stackhouse, I do not see the sense of all these statements shitty, because now is a player who has done his time, and has spent the best years.

Stack was a great player a decade ago, and deserves respect.

    So go get fucked.

  • @entoniopchins Respect..

  • bye bye jerry sorry 2 c u leave miami

  • I like stackhouse but it wont make a difference when they face the celtics and the Lakers. Jus being real. Miami have no post presence. They will dominate until they have to face the Lakers and Celtics. They are goin to get Pounded. They have to go through 4 really good big men in Boston and then go through 2 big men(bynum, Gasol), 1 shot blocker(Theo Ratlief), and versitile Lamar odom. Then face the best player in the game in KOBE BRYANT.... SORRY

  • @rampagedakilla haha, how did that season turn out for you? You couldn't even win a game against the tall german guy.

  • welcome to the heat

  • Can you say desperate?

  • @AllknowingGuitarGuru That pretty much applies to every competitive player in the NBA. It's that hunger, that desperation that leads to greatness.

  • @bigboss25262 Don't get me wrong... Stackhouse is one of the best to have ever played the game and he deserves to win a ring. However, Miami puts together an all star team and convinces good players like Miller to work below their market value. Then when Miller is injured they don't want to leave anything to chance... they go after Stack. It starts to sound like they're afraid to face the rest of the league with even a modicum of confidence. That smells of flop sweat and desperation.

  • @AllknowingGuitarGuru What are you getting at? They lost a player and they replaced him with another. What is desperate about that exactly?

  • @bigboss25262 I'm getting at a desperate team that's demonstrating a win-today mentality without regard to the long term viability of the franchise. Oddly, Stack isn't what the Heat needs; they need a big not an aging & once great 6'6" guard. In contrast to the Heat, the Bulls have temporarily replaced Boozer by going to their bench: Taj Gibson. The Bulls are more interested in developing one of their young players, rather than giving in to desperation. But then the Bulls aren't cookie pan deep.

  • @AllknowingGuitarGuru mu ha ha ha ha lol.

  • Stack with the Heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @bigboss25262 Yeah! He should help us!

  • @bigboss25262 yea

  • why tribute, is he dead?

  • one of my favorite players growing up

  • Jerry's brother Darren Stackhouse was in our school for a few weeks last year! I was with him on the fair! He is very nice, and he told us something about his brother and Washington DC! If you have questions, just write to me!;)

  • i've never been a big fan of jerry stackhouse, i mean yeah, he was a good scorer for the most of his career, but he was never a accurate shooter. in otther words, he took a lot of shots to score a lot of points. his career year in 2000-2001 he averaged 29.7 points on 40% shooting, and the following year he put up 21 points on 39%. he's a career 40% shooter, and a career 30% shooter from 3.

  • Great video! I have been a big fan of Stack since his rookie year in Philly and was totally bummed for him when the Mavs didn't win the title in 2006. I used to collect his basketball cards too and have at least 1 of every major brand of card from his first 5 years in the NBA (almost 500 different cards) except for 2. I really hope he can still get picked up by another team and continue to play in the upcoming season.

  • Yeah, man. I'm hoping so too.

  • When he was healthy he was one of the most underrated players in the league, even when he came back from his injury he was a key sixth man for the Mavs.

Even at 34 (soon to be 35) he should be picked up by a contender.

Cleveland, Boston, Orlando and San Antonio already have key players picked up but I mean any other team could use a vet like him

  • I agree. And i still think if he wouldn't have been suspended for that hard foul on Shaq the Mavs would have won the '06 finals. But we all know the deal wit that so let's just leave it at dat.

  • jerry was not the best player but he is great.

  • But he is the greatest in my heart.

  • yeah. he's great but not the best. he doesn't suck. he's a great player. :)

  • the guy says Stack is a 3 time all-star in 02... Stackhouse has only made 2 all-star teams.

  • His rookie year, he was in da rookie all stars i think. And the other 2 all star appearances.

  • well stack was good back when he was in detroit.

  • true

  • Kobe is 30 get the facts straight before you all correct some one

  • he's 33

  • I love they way he got himself to the free throw line. Its to bad he was injured so much while he was in Washington. Still, we should have kept rip.
