resistors come in plugs as well THIS IS TO STOP AM RADIO INTERFERANCE it will not hurt anything just burn the plug cleaner and more efficiant as the resistor lowers the amount of voltage jumping the plug the more voltage greater radio interferance

I dont think it would, It isn't putting more fuel into the barrel it's just burning it more intensley

I've asked my friend, who knows a lot on electrics and bikes, if removing the resistor is a good idea. He told me this can actually produce a worse spark: "with resistor in place, the spark is slightly weaker, but the duration is longer, giving better ignition". I haven't found a real explanation of this mod's benefits. This mod is one of the well-known "Gordon Mods", but Gordon could have been wrong. It'd be great to make a couple of dyno runs with and without the resistor, and compare them...
