they look good, but they broke for me really easy and the glow in the dark paint peeled off over time. they don't have a very good tone either... but what do I know... mine were on guitar. these may be better on bass... but they don't sound it. You seem like a good bass guitarist though.

These are the worst string you could ever have on a bass guitar/ electric guitar. The coating gets worn down after only 2 songs en because of the coating the snares sound very dead. They're crap. Utterly useless crap!

Lol, just grab one of those glow sticks, break them alot so it leaks out the green glow liquid and just pour it in a bucket, once its all full of that, dip your strings in the bucket, then take them out and there u go, glow in the dark strings

@NeonMoose89 Once you play them for a while they sound better. I have the same ones, and was really disappointed at first when they sounded shitty and it seemed like it was all for the looks. But they just needed to be broken in a bit, I don't have an explanation for why I just know they sound better on my bass than any other strings ever did. They last for-freaking-ever too! And on top of that, they look pretty cool.

much better than I at a year!!! good job! improvisations aren't super incredibly hard. learn some scales and keys and find out where your riff are playing off of(what key ect.) and then just use your scales in combination with the groove! just play around! and keep it up!

Strings look good, your playing is okay, but I can't tell the true sound of the string because you got too much damn distortion on the bass ! What's with you young guys and distortion on bass ? It don't go ! Your always better off with a clean bass sound with maybe a bit of compression. A tube OD is ok sparingly !!! Lose the distortion and start listening to some electric jazz !!

If it has the tone that you need, why does it matter whether it's distorted or not? as for the whole "backbone" thing that doesn't come from a "pure" tone. (Pure would be a sine wave, which an electric bass is not) there is asolutely nothing wrong with a distorted bass.

It seams like you're hitting the strings to hard with your right hand, and some of the notes are played messy. Its a YamahaTBR1006 from 1998 i think?im going to borrow it before i buy it wich is great.He bought it for 20000 NOK (Norway) = 3480 USD. Im getting it for 6000 NOK = 1000 USD. i am in a dubstep band. now before you laugh, listen. i play a 5 bass with a BOSS synth pedal and a bass wah pedal. my band mates play an electric drum set and a guitar with a synth (different setting than mine of coarse) and wah pedals. i have a bass dedicated to that band. made it my self it is flat black with neon pant splattered all over it with orange neon strings and we get invites to play at dances and parties alot. it is pretty fucking cool
