here is the thing. back in those days. there was a lot of destruction on temples and other religious buildings. Shah Jahan was known to be the most peaceful ruler of India. (moslty in south India) but the name Hindutaan was given by us. Other than the dog aurangzeb... alll muslims were great.. Many Dalit Hindus also converted to Islam because they felt happy by becoming Muslims .They were treated very badly by high caste Hindus ... thats why they got shelter in moderate islam

While the robbery faced by hindu culture / knowledge repositories / arts and sciences are in deniable facts.. but u cant attribute these to a religion. It was the barbaric human mindset of the medieval period cause of the whole episode. True essence of every religion is peace. I have no doubt in my mind Islam in true spirit is peace. Given that One fifth of worlds population are Islamic. I believe trouble is only with a limited lot, which misinterprets religious sayings.

@rahul2206 Many temples which are more than 1000 years in many parts of India, cause Hinduism was founded by ancient cave mans where they used to pray everything as god such as cow, sun, man made statue, trees, monkeys etc. & this practice still make sense to among all highly educated 21st Century (Hindu) people! Before doing any research about a monument like Taj Mahal, dig some research about validation of Hinduism, which sounds more like a Science fiction in 2days modern era
