  • I built that exact Corsair. How much you want a bet that engine overheated on his first flight? He has no airflow through that radial engine replica. I had that issue with mine. VERY AWESOME work he did on it though. Definately don't want to fly it now HAHAHA!

  • very nice

  • **PUSH 4 and 5 really fast to see how the plane flies!!**

  • awesome, i cant wait till i get old and have that kind of time on my hands

  • Too 'pretty'; for me that is with my abysmal flight-record. I'd have to content myself with extended taxi-runs up and down my driveway and hoping an errant breeze wouldn't loft her.

    Very nice aircraft.

  • stuart will be happy.

  • put into the plane a hamster xDD!!

  • @mierdecilla2 or little cat...xD

  • wow that thing is big enough to carry a bomb :)

  • Don't you just hate showoff! ;) great plane, good details. Don't stop showoff!!

    Cheers

  • i would be so freaking nervous to fly that f4u for the first time.

  • Re-edit and take out "slicker than snot".

  • SPETTACOLARE!!!!!!!!!!! BEAUTYFULL

  • Check out this GIANT Dynamic Soaring glider that has a 200" wing span and weighs 77pounds. It flys supper fast too, in fact we made a video of this plane flying up to 425mph.

Here's the link or just go to my YouTube channel.

  • счастливая пенсия)))

  • I would love to know what he used for the canopy slider rails.

  • thumbs up for it being slicker than snot lol

  • No electric start?

  • A masterpiece of modelling - congratulations.

  • thats cool

  • IS that thing got a small chainsaw motor? or weedwacker motor?

  • Slicker than snot!

  • slicker than snot?

  • How about a TBM Avenger with the wings folding back next to the fusalage? I know, more complicated. Nice touch, I like it.

  • slicker 'n snot. Anybody SEE that gear go up? I guess it's a Korean War Corsair.

  • SUPER! congratulation!

  • :28, am I the ONLY one that was thinking of putting a monkey inside

  • @dizkoteck The only problem putting a monkey inside. He would unplug the battery from the receiver lol.

  • Marvellous

  • Jim's a Badass!

  • How the hell is he going to fit in that plane? He made it waaayyy too small.

    Fail.

  • how do you get a lock down on the wings. you dont have the servos holding the weight do you?

  • fuck you

  • Was that a kit or scratch built?

  • why have it if you wont fly it ????? put that bitch in the air!~!!!

  • Slicker than snot,, love it.

  • how come u didnt test the engine cuz i think itll sound like dad weadeater and i love that sound

  • That is slicker than sknot...haha!

  • He's a UCLA man. No wonder he has a kick ass plane!

  • that crap dosnt fly

  • @lcosvideos then why would he take it to a flying field? just a though.

  • Awesome!

  • I think that bird would fly OK with the momentum, so long as he doesn't press close_wings function! LOL!!!

  • WOW! COOL but he is missing something... Maybe the pilot? lol?

  • OMG Is there a guy ice fishing behind you!? It sounds like my ice auger!! lol

  • Nice Corsair !

  • "that is sliker then n=snot".... lol?

  • rustler from GTA SA LMAO

  • Mola

  • this plane can do almost everything, but fly....sad!

  • omg omg a ghost plane

  • where i can buy this at

  • oh my god I bet that cost you thousands of dollars

  • Excellent craftsmanship and I love the fail safe for wing retract system.

  • I WAS enjoying a decent meal until...."SLICKER THAN SNOT" Please let's retire that. How about..."Slicker than ice"? How about that, we'll say that. Yes there is a bit of super cynicism here, when you work just ONE shift at the counter of a parts store or dealership or autobody supply shop, you'll understand. Everybody's gotta come in the door with their little catch phrases, tired and lame, every single one. Other than that, great video..LOL

  • @Grantrus71 your a wuss...nuff said

  • @bullbrauch LOL!!

  • @Grantrus71

LMAO...Yeah that saying is pretty mundane.... Sorry bout yer meal...What were you eating?

  • @scott93257 Egg drop soup...pretty bad, eh? LOL

  • @jonnyasprin ahaha....

  • am i the only one thinking to put a GI joe toy in there and/or stick a peice of dynamite on it to see big boom?(shit if i was rich enough id build it just to blow it up)

  • 7 grand ? For what ? I think this should be put up for auction to a collector . I have been flying since 1978 and I know this type of builder /flyer , I'll bet 90% of the time at the field is just what your watching a test of all the goodies and the fun of having people tell you how nice it looks and the cost . Corsairs have a glide ratio of 1 to 1 if this planes overwieghs its wing area he's got some problems on his hands . Video a flight please !

  • how are the rockets and bombs???

  • jjust as good builder on spare time have full time job want 2 vsell my tallent no idiot

  • Nice aircraft that is if you just like to have it in your house showing people how the extras work to bad no one gets to see it fly .

  • @GHOSTRIDERNOMAD true, does it do it?

  • Your plane is and has always been my favorite plane. Is it scratch build? Where did you find the plans or the kit? The folding wing operation was great and so was the canopy slide!

    "Pappy" would have liked it.

  • "slicker 'an snot" must be a colloquialism someplace. But where? I want to stay away.

  • aswome god work

  • "I haven't flown it yet."

How typical. Probably will never fly it... either keep working on it till he dies, or nose-it-in on the first flight (but he'll wait for no one to be at the field before he flies to not make a fool).

  • the dude calling for jim souds like a dumb ass

  • thats attention to detail if i ever saw it.

  • hey jim??

  • close that canopy.

  • bet you that guy use to fly one of those in real life

  • Wouldn't fly it either.

  • Snot is more sticky than slick

  • @atom2009

    depends on the snot :-P

    very sweet plane too...i'm jealous

  • ilive in toronto any one who live in toronto can tell me where can i find shopes of these planes. i want to buy. i looking from one year shopes of these planes.

  • many of those shops wont carry the giant scale models. ( have to be ordered) not saying they are NOT available, quite the opposite, they are available, ive foudn a few in shops, btu that plane would take up a HUGE amount of floorspace , and it somethign that would sell, but not as many as a smaller ( and less expensive) plane

  • slicker than snot alrite

  • yea now he needs to fly the damn thing, not just show it off.

  • yeah, it's only about 7 grand.

  • what about that makes it 7 grand??. alot of these details is based around the build up of the structure and adding servos and air components in the right places.. the sequencing devices is the only thing I dont know enough about to comment.. but really, with steady hands and some skill, you can engineer alot of cool features into an airframe for little monetary investment..still a cool set-up tho, regardless of cost

  • put an m-80 with a long fuse in the cockpit the fly it and run!!!

  • this has to be the nicest rc corsair ive ever seen in my life.

  • he must fly that plane by flapping its wings really fast.

  • lol

  • he'd better strap himself hard to that plane too then ;D

  • hahahahaha yeah you maybe right

  • @jonnyasprin hahahahahaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • @jonnyasprin WOW! The only thing dumber than your comment is the fact that 60 people liked it. Idjit

  • @jonnyasprin - The Corsair was typically a carrier based plane, hence the fold-up wings to conserve space in the flight hangars below the main flight deck.

  • unicef would feed a country for the price of that thing

  • somebody has a cool gramps

  • that is slicker snot

  • Some people can really take time to build such nice stuff, its nuts ... I would really cry if I had something like that and it crashed!

  • me too

  • You are an idiot.

  • old dudes with a ass load of money and time, man i love em

  • I want to be one.

  • a old dude or a plane, cuz there both kinda wierd......

  • Doesn't have to fly! lol

  • fly it buddy

  • WANT

    TO

    SEE

    IT

    FLY

  • "that is slicker then snot" i couldn't agree more :D

  • I guess Jim will need a loger cable to fly that plane, hahahahhahahahaha

  • yeah jim fly it!! remember its life jim but not as we know it !!

  • Lol... Only going forward 'cause we can't find reverse... hehe

  • Hey Jim, how about flying it? O_o

  • cool but lets see it in the air now.

  • i want to see that in the air... wow

  • ZZZzzzzzzzzz

  • man that is the coolest thing i have ever seen exellent job,WOW

  • its a shame that the industry doesn't share the same passion as the builders. I can view, write, watch, share, play from a computer device that fits in my back pocket, but retract companies cant get it right with the timing. its a dam shame.

  • thast amazing! I tell you though If i was into that realistic scale hobby I would be very dissapointed in the fact that the retracts for the landing gear and wings could operate smoothly and symmetrically. Im yet to see one that works like that. You spend tons of money and spend lots of time for that scale look but when you show it off one wing opens fast and the other slow.

  • I'm yet to see a real war bird where the landing gear operates symmetrically

  • heh heh, got a good point there- some end up with a major lag

  • i bet that costs alot of money

  • Its beatifull

  • incredible plane ! i want the same ! why not coming in france with it through atlantic ocean ?

  • Wheres the pilot?

Thats a nice plane fellas wish I cold fly it!!

  • Dam i fell bad for that old man

  • Why? - What a brilliant achievement!

  • the man is very brilliant....

  • At home all day playing with the dam wings ,,, fly the dam thing

  • slicker than snot..lol.

  • q meeeerlin

  • That is a cool Corsair,

  • Excellent added features.

  • ok i was JK, i felt like an idiot after posting that comment haha sorry

  • so i have a parrot that can retract its wings, feet, close his canape AND talk! whats up baby whats up!!

  • it was flight 119 over the triangle, its the corsair

  • Actually it was Flight 19 and they were Avenger Torpedo Planes

  • That is a plane that flew over the devils tryangle. It was called Flight 19 i think.

  • Wouldn't want to accidentally flip the wing switch in mid flight. lol

  • he said in the vid, cant fold wings when canopy is closed, so he would have to flip 2 switches to do it lol

  • that corsair is a beauty! too bad we cant see it fly :(

  • did hesay slicker then snot at the beging what ever nice plane does it fly

  • It could fly but only if the wings flap faster

  • does it fly??? hmmm im guessing so lol

  • does it fly? or does it sit there and do cool tricks and make people say wow, cool, oh, aaah.

  • that is PIMP

  • Isn't a Hell cat... It is a F4U-Corsair ...

  • I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO

i liked this video :) Ul

  • i would hate to fly that i would be shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit its a bout to crash when its 100ft off the ground

  • i would be too scared to fly something like that!

  • oops, corsair i mean

  • sweet grumman hellcat

  • be cool to see it fly

  • Does it also fly ;o) ?

  • Superb craftsmanship!

  • put a wiked camera in the canopy taht woudl be so KOOL

  • that's awesome

  • Slicker than snot

  • it would look better with a pilot i have an f4u it ddnt come with a pilot so i bought one filed him down and glued him in looked realistic

  • cool plain. But i wonder if there is a way to slow the action of the wings down to make it more realistic. You know more like real hydrolics. I like how he stagered the action of the wings just like the real thing.

  • Sepulveda Basin air park is a lovely place! :)

  • That Corsair is my favorite WW2 plane what an AWESOME reproduction! Grat video and great attention to detail! Best plane I've seen awesome is all I have to say!

  • Sepulveda Basin air park! Long time since ive been there! Nice plane by the way!

  • Channel Islands Condors Field Camarillo California

  • i hope its electric!

  • p.s dont do munuvers with bombers!

  • if im in the sky on any of my flying games i stay inles i get killed or im badly ingerd

  • he shoulda put tyra banks in there or lindsee lohan and fly up side down and open cockpit up lol she would be like come back cock!!! ...pit , cockpit lol thats retarded but yeh cool plane

  • wow, beautiful.

  • how did u build the wings like that

  • isnt that a Vought F4U Corsair?

  • perfect great
