You do have a valid point, and as the two video responses below the video show this camera does indeed take HD footage.

The problem, however comes in uploading the footage as our office is in Shenzhen and behind the great firewall which prevents us from uploading any high resolution videos to YouTube.

Look closure at the specs for the flawes:

OLD RATIO FORMAT 1472x1080p (NOT WIDESCREEN - 1920x1080 - so useless on widescreen TV).

1080p highest frame rate is 30fps (only 60fps @ 720p).

Max Resolution is 8MP (Interpolated) - It actualy only has 5MP.

Lens: Wide - F/3.2, f=6.26mm; TELE: F/6.8, f=30.75mm

Very poor camera in low light/in-doors conditions, lense/sensor not strong enough to pick up light.

Still though, for how much it costs it is still a bargain. Just not as much as 1st thought.
