@Kalashboy762 Would you please kindly explain to me what difference is there between mounting a bayonet on a stamped/milled receiver rifle, since all AK bayonets are mounted on standarized underbarrel mounts?
@stridingshadow no not true. ak-47s have a different mount than a akm, ak-74 or ak100 pattern bayonet lug the give away for the ak-47 bayonet was that there is one ring and another semi ring. also the removal latch of the ak-47 bayonet is next to the blade like in the video (an AKM bayonet removal latch is at the base of the grip). I've never seen an ak-47 bayonet in an ak-100 bayonet pattern so this is wierd
@Kalashboy762 The mount is the same, and older bayonets can be mounted on new rifles, and vice-versa. The AK-47 type removal latch may be more comfortable than the one located at the pommel, but the latter is much easier to manufacture. The only difference in bayonet mounts is due to the fact, that AK-74 has a long muzzle device, and its bayonet lug is located under the front sight base, instead of being located under the gas blok (as in AK or AKM).
@stridingshadow no they cant. the bayonet lugs for the ak-47 and akm's are completely different. the akm and ak-74 + 100 bayonet lugs are similar but not equal to ak-47 bayo lug ok. heres the math: ak-47 does not equal with akm and ak-74 + 100. AKM = ak-74 + 100. why don't you do some research before talking to me again
@stridingshadow Also the akm and ak-74 and ak-100 bayonet designs and lugs are the same even with the muzzle device. but the bayonet in this vid is not an ak-100 bayonet. it is an ak-47 bayonet that looks like an ak-100 bayonet.
@Kalashboy762 It's simply a bayonet compatible with the AK series of weapons. The semi-crescent stabilizer located at the pommel doesn't make it an AK-47 exclusive bayonet, since the gas key of the AK and AKM as well as the front sight base of the AK-74 (these are the parts where the semi-crescent pommel stabilizer would mount) have the same diameter). This bayonet will fit all 'classic' AK variants (except the SBRs wchich lack lugs) as well as the SVD.
@Kalashboy762 What math are you talking about? The AK-47 and AKM gas keys (which contain the lug) are the same, the muzzle devices have the same diameter, so bayonets are interchangeable. AK-100s are simply AK variants with AK-74M style furniture. Do some research yourself, and find out that early AKM bayonets also have semi crescent pommel-mounted stabilizers. Now be a smart man and answer me: why would someone keep standards for parts and magazines, and forgo standards for bayonets?
@stridingshadow Do you even own a real akm and a real ak 47 bayonet. I tried, it doesn't fit be cause they are just not for each other. I did all the research too. The ak-47 bayonet WILL NOT FIT ANY OTHER AK SERIES OF WEAPON OTHER THAN THE AK-47 OK. I TRIED IT. THE LUGS ARE DIFERENT THE GAS BLOCK IS DIFFERENT AND THE FRONT SIGHT WHERE THE AK-47 LUG IS IS DIFFERENT. PLEASE IF IM WRONG POST A VIDEO SHOWING THAT THEY FIT
@stridingshadow they aren't, i bought an ak-47 bayonet bc they looked better than the short AKM ones, doesnt fit =/ the gas block isn't the same size : the lugs are different
i have 2 of these but mine might be an older model cos looks a wee bit diffrent

Is the blade sharp? Or is it made of same "non cutting" alloy as previous versions. Not to offend but mine for 47 series is really dull (brand new).

it's an AK-100 pattern bayonet but made for milled ak's

I am looking one like these to buy. Anybody knows from where I can get it?

That's not for the AK-74, it's for milled reciever rifles. Made by Arsenal in Bulgaria.
