@Realbastard1 that was in the second season I believe.. can't remember the name of the episode but it was to raise money to help pay the vet bills they had for the dogs they rescued and all. What I hated was that the guy with the photograper was like "the agent said we could use the dog anyway we wanted" well I would have came back and said "well the agent didn't tell us you were wanting them to look vicious either he just said you needed a dog for a cover shoot"

I see that it all worked out but I have a feeling Shorty didn't step in because he wouldn't have known what to do. I don't think it was because he wanted to test Ronald. Heck, he HIRED a trainer to help Harold teach Geisha. Why didn't Shorty do it? I love him and the show but I wonder about things like that.

@bertbow8 geisha was already trained by shorty, she's the first service dog shorty had, then hercules was trained. So he could have stepped in, but since ronald is the entertaining booker and all that he needed to make sure ronald could pull through.. Geisha is probably just trained just for shorty so if shorty did step in she probably would have done it. Some dogs are trained to respond to certain people. So she had to learn to work with Ronald and vice versa

most reality shows are about real things but have staged scenes for dramatic effect. Pit Boss is about a real business and all the dogs they rescue etc are real but i think they stage the fight scenes and stuff like that. shows like Operation Repo, however, are completely fake- fully scripted and staged with actors.

My mother actually met "shorty" at an annual pet parade in San Pedro. She said he was very rude, acted like a punk-ass, and his dog weren't the least bit friendly. Why do these kind of people get shows yet people who work hard to get a positive message out don't get their voice heard?
