Say, boy, where ya comin' from? Where'd ya get that point of view? When I was younger I knew a Motherfucker like you, and she said, 'You don't need my love, You wanna sati-satisfaction,' Bitch You don't need my love, You've got to find yourself another Another piece, another piece Of the action [estribillo]
Ow! I've been lookin' for a trace Lookin' for a heart, Lookin' for a lover in a world That's much too dark Because you don't want my love, no, no You wanna sati-satisfaction Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, ow! You don't need my love You got to find yourself another Another piece, another piece of the Action, yeah, ow yeah, look out
his tone is so effortless here and it sounds so good! he works for a tone now which is still amazing but not as good as it was back when gnr were destroyin more hotels than ever!
Yea. idk y is that exactly maybe becasue back then he was more "HARD ROCK" his attitude. Now idk what the ehll he is, but in point in history he was the late 80`s version of Robert plant and Steven tyler.
there is cartilage in your throat that makes the vocal tone and when you stress it like he didit sounded fuckin cool as shit but eventually it gets used to the stress, hardens and becomes more like bone. You hear his voice now and its the same notes if not higher ones but sounds dry and solid like a whistle. Not scratchy and rough like it used to.
the slowed down acoustic version of this song is by far the best!..probably one of the GREATEST guitar riffs..Izzy and Slash are geniuses together..specially this version..cuz Axl doesnt add all those other scats in here like there is on the record..theres also another great video of this song..just search..You're Crazy Late Show.
i'm sorry this doesn't look like cbs to me at all, granted i didn't go into the place until some 15 or so years later, as i was 2 in 1987, but the back drop of the stage doesn't look right at all to me. either way, cbs is closed, the mecca that was is now a john varvatos store (dont even get me started on that one). at least i got to go to shows in the joint, it truly was something else. such a sh*t hole yet so many solid memories
I agree completly. this was befin my opinoiore they were MEGA stars. This was the best GnR era in my opinion. Anybody have some vids from The Cathouse or The Whiskey?
they have a video from 1987 at the Ritz is that good enough? it can be downloaded as a torrent on pirate bay i would buy it but i haven't found a place to buy it other than Ebay and it's at a very unreasonable price
check out axls cover of todd rundgrens dust in the wind, also, who agrees that their best music is the stuff that wasnt made into videos, i.e. : one in a million, rocket queen, crazy, shotgun blues, 14 years etc.
my father is such a fan of these guys... this song brings good memories. it pisses me off to see kids say, "I love GNR!" when the only song they know is "Welcome to da Jungle!" pisses me off, man!
I agree! Im 17 too and I know all of their songs and november rain is NOT my fav like of the most kids. I know some of them who think that they listen GnR but they only know welcome to the jungle or november rain!
lol its weird, im 1 month off being 17, and i feel the same, i started playing guitar 1 week after i heard my first GNR song out ta get me and its been my favourite ever since.
Does anyone understand how hard it is to pull off a solo on an acoustic. Slash probably has a kick ass guitar but still it is hard as fuck so you know hes the best. He is so good on acoustic too cause his first guitar was an acoustic with one only one string!
this looks like an awesome concert everyone is like really relaxed and drinking beers and all the songs are just really great guns n roses at one of their high points I think.
