Shoreleave spent a week in jail (not shown on screen) and Hunter used the mind wiping device on him to forget he was in jail. Shoreleave has been openly guy since he got kicked out of the OSI, he was only in the closet during his OSI days.

P.S. Shoreleave is the BEST supporting character in the series.

@bluntman1138 Yea, according to Brock he was kicked out of OSI on "a don't ask, don't tell" thing. And I'd absolutely watch an OSI spin off that focuses on Shoreleave and Brock. And I guess the jail thing just got past me, because I don't remember it.
