FYI: Wes Craven later directed ' Wes Craven's New Nightmare' with prior cast of

the first '84 Nightmare on Elm Street contained Johnny Depp. Craven considered Depp to be cameoed in the New Nightmare but thought Depp wasn't interested.

Depp later stated to prior press or rumors he would had loved to been cameoed again opposite Freddy in the movie that started his carreer.
