  • The original million seller was by Gene Autry, the best ever. You can hear it on you tube, check it out.

  • I heard this song by them this weekend. It was when Phil was 13 years old, and their dad was singing with them. Believe it or not it was even more beautiful.

  • my dad was a fan of Jim Reeves and he sang this song and i have heard it and it is pretty, but it still does not compare with Don and Phil.

  • this song brings tears to my eyes every time i hear it by the everly brothers. i've heard it by other artists, but it's just not the same somehow. Don and Phil will live forever in my heart.

I still have the first L.P. I ever bought of them singing together in 1958/59 and they are better than ever.

  • How quickly we can remember all the lost moments in life when we think of all this song says. Don't forget to give those you care about a hug.

  • I remember this track and Old Rocking Chair being on an Everly Brothers album that I had, probably around 1957. It's great to be able to listen to them again. Many thanks for these great postings.

  • This is one song by the Everlys that always brings a tear to my eye.

My brother and i used to sing most of the Everlys songs on the road, but since our Father died, i could never get through it without choking up.

    A truly beautiful song.

  • You are right about that!! I had this on an album along with about 200 records and reel-to-reel tapes. I loaned my entire collection to our Church Youth Group. We were doing a benefit dance for a local family who was going through some very hard times--made some big bucks for them!! However, that night, some punks broke into the Church and what they didn't steal, they destroyed. I even had to pay for a jukebox I had borrowed. Y'all have no idea how badly my heart was broken.

  • How great this is! I haven't heard them sing this in many, many years. Their harmony is wonderful. I love this song. Pure sentimentality! Thanks for posting.

  • This song is just amazing.
