  • I love old Muse, I love new Muse, I love all kinds of Muse. Just give me some new Muse asap and I'll love it.

  • Muse is a unique band I really love them...just listen 1:26 1:40 *sigh* hauntly beautiful

  • IT BURNS INSIDE ME!!!!

  • DRUG DRUG DRUG !!! :D

  • i feel like this song should be in the most creepiest part in the creepiest horror movie or the creepiest ghost complition video

  • i was nothing ... before i find muse

  • Why does everyone talk about emotions. People love the music because of how it is sounding to you. This song is awesome stoned by the way...I listen to all of MUSE songs sober or high or drunk. all three make their music sound awesome.

  • @promathia1 And people Grow up too. Cant make people kids forever. We live then we die. Muse made awesome music back then and they still do now. Their new album is just really Classical because they have no real genre. they r an experimental group. Maybe the next album will be hip hop XD

  • @promathia1 lol..xD

  • @promathia1 totally wicked stoned and I'm tryin it out on my new headphones it sounds soooo wicked.

  • @promathia1 how can you be sober and drunk/ high at the same time?????? The only way I can think that is possible is being stoned while listening to Sober off of Showbiz. Either way still an amazing song :D

  • I'm sick of this RETARDED Muse vs Radiohead... you know what? they are both fantastic music bands, we could use a few more of them. Radiohead started something that Muse did also start, they both toke their very own way in a symilar music style.. i like both bands, still i preffer Muse cos they used to create really deep and dark music. I really hope they go back to that way, or else i rather see them stopping. Radiohead never really managed to show me that dark and deep side.

  • @Aphorism89 first half of your comment I agree with, then it just went downhill

  • @Aphorism89 agreed with first two sentences, but otherwise, no. radiohead has a very dark and deep side, my all time favorite is videotape, which fits the description of "dark and deep" perfectly. and if muse stops, than im fucked, because their is no band that competes with muse. for me atleast.

  • @Aphorism89 Yo man like, there aren't that many different ways to toke.

  • Muse is fucking epic. I can't explain how I feel when I listen to them.

  • Remember the pc game VTM: Bloodlines? This one sounds like one of its tracks!

  • i need help. i can see chris and dom. can someone spot matt in the pic of the cover???????????

  • @maryjanesoares

no you've pointed it out, so can I hahaha!!

  • @0ct0parr0t

what do you mean? i can't see him i just think he's there cause dom and chris are...

  • @maryjanesoares

what i mean is, i can see them both because youve pointed them out. cant find matt though lol

  • @0ct0parr0t

ah sorry i think it's matt's hair next to dom's head lol i loved when he had black spiky hair

  • Does anyone knows a band that plays this kind of jazz music, or more songs like this ???? pleaseeee heeelp XD

  • @spartacuswh7 dj shadow or porstihead

  • I wonder if they're showing some sort of respect (as they often do) by using those rain sounds? Kind of reminds me of that song by The Doors.... Riders on the Storm..... I like Muse, not only for their music, by for their respect of, and for, music. Just another reason why I like Muse so much :D

  • Muse is overrated by a lot of guys that only know 3 or 4 songs from them. But they rock anyway.

  • @skullhacks78 overrated? as far as I can tell, they're very underrated

  • This song reminds me of The Cure. Mmmmf. Orgasmic.

  • Muse and I are on the same wavelength. Everyone has their own preference on who's a better musician, etc., but for me, Muse just taps into my emotions. If I were to use music to explain how I feel, it'd be a Muse song.

  • @Raevynschylde I'd use Fury. OO_OO

  • @Fozza217G ---that would be a good one.

  • Thats really not as fair as great as muse are they are the more full out modern rock version of radiohead, if you listen to radiohead you find little things which they introduces ito the song to make it better (and shows better composition FACT) which you could easily miss. Muse are a bit on the surface, their music is great but a bit plain and simple. it is to standardised, radiohead break musical boundaries and you cant misconstrue emotional music with moody music. muse are almost too easy

  • @gozondor A valid point, and as I personally prefer muse I may be wrong, but I think that Muse is breaking these boundaries as well, listen to a song like map of the problematique - no other song I've ever heard got music like that

  • Muse has that extra little bit of imagination and Radiohead has that extra little bit of soul.

  • old muse is quite different i love it so much i mean new muse is good too but this makes me wanna listen to it till i die ._.

  • @maryjanesoares I know what you mean, I feel exactly the same XD

  • OK EVERYBODY! Every composer has to start w/ an influence, otherwise music would be quite dull. Both Radiohead and Muse might sound similar to the untrained ear, but if you listen closely you can catch the differences, ie:

Radiohead is much more Beat-based, relying on the tempo, the drums, and the guitar to take hold. Vocals come second.

Muse is switched with Vocals coming in first, relying more on Harmony.

  • The man sits, cross-legged, still as a statue. He raises his head. Is it time? Unless it had already passed? It does not matter now. Nothing matters at all. All emotions have been discarded, only his power remains. POWER he thinks. He wills. He wants. He must have. The only thing that makes a difference. He opens his eyes. They are the eyes of darkness.

Sorry, kind of just randomly wrote. It kind of got off-track. Ah, well...

  • there is no way you can even compare the two. muse is so far beyond those bitch ass whining fagots called radiohead. long live the queen!!!!

  • I've liked muse for quite some time now, and I always see that they " ripped off radiohead." Well I looke up some of their songs, and personally think their style is completly different.

  • I suffer from Tinnitus (constant ringing sound in my ears). Once, I decided to listen closely to the noise. I could have sworn that behind the ringing, i could hear the intro to this song :D

  • @franconbean I too am a tinnitus "sufferer" since I was a little seedling... I hear all kinds of muse-like stuff in it. I fall asleep to it every night, I'm used to it

  • Actually it falls under the genre rip off of coke baby by radiohead

  • @BenL123 sound's nothing like that song you prick !!

  • thay played this song live somewhere i remember! anyone know where?

  • Muse is the kind of band that is many levels above the rest. I think this is because they seem to have this sort of Muse philosophy that they abide by, thus tying some theme of apocalypse, the fate of our world, and the whole universe into their music. This gives their music a unified quality...unlike some artists who crossover to different genres throughout their careers, Muse has inevitably concocted a unique and artful genre, with the help of the virtuoso Matt Bellamy.

  • @Ajapam34 fuck you.

  • @chodesickle relax kid, im a huge muse fan, after 2 years of intensive listenin i can nearly dream every song of them, and hey, aja is right, muse is influenced by radiohead, so what.

Radiohead is a great band also so being influenced by them is an honour, not a shame.

  • @GiveMeApennyAsshole I won't deny that their IS an influence, but I gotta say, I prefer them XD But still, Radiohead are pretty sweet :)

  • earsex

  • *looks around, prepares to die* I think Radiohead is better. But Muse is hardly a rip-off as many RH fans have claimed. Only Muse's first album sounds like Radiohead. Everything after that is obviously influenced by RH, but with it's own distinct style. Muse is more RATM than Radiohead anyway, just listen to the guitar. The comparisons stopped making sense after Origin of Symmetry IMO.

  • @Napalmhead1 huh? I just said my preference, I didn't compare them.

  • Love this. A lot

  • Muse is better then radio head, just sayin an to all u haters out there sayin muse is worse or they tried to copy radio head well how bout u take one of radio heads cd's an shove it up ur ass till it comes out ur mouth

  • @KriegPeaches muse was inspired by radiohead. they admitted. they're both good but radiohead surpasses.

  • @InterstellarBuuurst no shut up go away get out of here bye now go NOW

  • @InterstellarBuuurst Wrong Answer

  • @speedofsound21 yeh ok 'speed of sound' ......

  • @speedofsound21 well then I am sorry to tell you friend, but you are truely a fucking idiot, fuck your humble opinion, I want war. Muse is a radiohead ripoff and you know it and so does everyone else. You should get your ass kicked and raped by jonny greenwood's guitar for saying something stupid like that. Radiohead cleared a path through the jungle with their music, and then bands like muse and coldplay came by later and built strip malls there.

  • @4TheMus1c Maybe they did sound like Radiohead in there earlier stuff but now there a completely different band. They also don't have just one genre, so you can't really compare them to anyone.

  • @4TheMus1c You're completely right, Muse does do it better

  • @ChameleonKyle Screw you man I did not say that. Muse will never do it better or achieve what radiohead has achieved. What part of "rip off" did u not understand?? Muse will only do it better the day a blind man tells a deaf man that he saw a legless man walk on water.

  • @4TheMus1c That's a funny analogy. Think that all up yourself did you?

  • @ChameleonKyle yes I did, thanks for noticing :) haha

  • @4TheMus1c That is the best thing I have read all day.

  • @sneakykangarooman100

haha glad to have made your day :)

  • @4TheMus1c And how civil we are... The more you talk like this, the more it lessens your POV.

  • @InterstellarBuuurst buthtatswrongyoufuckingretard.jpg

  • @FOFballer wrong how? they said they were inspired by radiohead. why the hell are you so butt hurt about that? i haven't even insulted them in any way, yet you reply with that? sort your life out.

  • @KriegPeaches radiohead fans don't have asses, just sayin'

  • Gives me the same feeling I get when listening to No Quarter by Led Zeppelin.

  • esta chida la rola emotion and the mega happy

  • How high were they when they wrote/recorded this? o.O

  • @michaeljackson407 not high enough

  • what album is this cus i need to find an album of all their b-Sides is this one ?

  • @xTustx Go buy the "Hullaballo Soundtrack", 2 CD´s, you ll find this song on the second one.

  • @KarlTheKonrad yeah ive got it but they have some many other good B-Sides :/ ill have to prob buy them of singles on itunes

  • @xTustx and its also on the 'Uno'-Single.

  • The voice at the beginning reminds me of GIr from Invader Zim...whom I love.

  • Love the riff, it reminds me of some ghost town theme from an old game, but I can't remember which xD

  • they were sneaky though. Radiohead sped it up a bit with Permanent Daylight to hide it, but you can also hear it in their song Coke Babies. Plus the whole vocal distortion thing was started by Muse. Radiohead took that as well with the vocals in Permanent Daylight and Climbing Up the Walls.

  • @jibblychupos huh? My Iron Lung EP was released in 1994 and this song was recorded in 1999. So I think you're pretty much an idiot. Climbing up the Walls was also released before this song. I like both bands but it gets pretty annoying then people obsess over comparing the 2.

  • Radiohead stole the guitars of this song for their song Permanent Daylight. just goes to show that Muse are always ahead of everyone with their forward thinking ideas

  • @jibblychupos I WISH YOU FUCK YOUR SELF SO HARD U BITCH, Permanent Daylight by Radiohead was released at My Iron Lung EP in 1994. Forced In was released by muse at Uno Single, in 1999. GOOGLE IT BEFORE YOU TALK SHIT, ASSHOLE

  • @Marcus The point is that nobody cares

  • I love love the last two minutes... of nothing!! Great song :D

  • Why is there like, 2 minutes of nothing at the end?

  • this a The Gallery off Hullabaloo Soundtrack is the best songs Muse has ever made...they are genius..

  • @promathia1 its not the gallery, YOU FAIL!!!!

  • @unitedteddys I had a spelling fail :( what I meant to say was. this is beast. then the next one.

  • @promathia1 You're wrong, The Gallery is an instrumental song... ;)

  • @ThiBiiX wrong. it's a piece. songs have words. instrumentals are pieces

  • @MarcusCOG101

So humming does not constitute a "song?"

Anything Muse creates is a masterpiece, much less a song.

  • Comment removed

  • @CloverTime419 A song is a composition in which vocals are the main aspect of the work. Whereas a piece is usually, but not always, composed of mainly instruments. Vocals can be used in pieces but the point is that they are not the primary instrument (do not argue that the voice is not an instrument, you will look like a dumb ass). Take Beethoven's 9th. It's a piece, but has vocals. Lieds are songs even though some have large orchestras. So this is a song. The Gallery is a piece; as is Minimum.

  • wait a minute i think ive heard something very similar to this by muse, is this an alternative version of a song of their like hypochondriac music is to hyper music?

  • this sounds very similar to "lost keys" by tool

  • @0871356005 this came out before lost keys so really lost keys sounds like forced in

  • @Darthlisp i v actually never really listened to tool just heard lost keys in another video and thought it was muse. so yea i looked up wikipedia and yes the song is after muse so yea lost keys sounds like forced in.

  • Did they place this during the encore at wembley last week?? For there teddy bears

  • This song is ... So great

This three Guys Are gods !

  • good song

  • Listen to Led Zepplins,"No Quarter" If you think that this is emo, then you think No Quarter is emo. And if you couldn't guess already, it's not.

  • Muse no es emo. Muse es la mejor banda del mundo y no hay nada que hacer. Punto. XD

  • muse is space rock , opera that does not not even come close to emo....emo songs do not have falsettos in them anyways...just, omg. i do not get people anymore....Muse is the best band then and now

  • @promathia1 .....someone said muse was emo????wtf?

well people say my chemical romance is emo to ...i think people are too caught up on this emo crap

honestly emo as it is today is stupid and i hate it ....but emo like music ....is pretty cool

  • @promathia1 Actually it's progressive rock. Emo is the epitome of talentless bands.

  • hey everybody! all of you, SHUT THE FUCK UP and LISTEN TO THE MUSIC.

  • i love this song it reminds me of silent hill one of my favorite games. You Rock MUSE!

  • musegasm.

  • so epic...

  • muse isnt emo, emo songs are rock songs about love with overloaded fellings, muse isn´t emo cos their songs have the perfect amount of felling, aren´t about love, and have a dark freaked out felling.

  • I really wish there was an option to turn off Youtube comments. I'm sick of coming onto videos and getting annoyed at such things as people talking about emo on a fucking Muse video!

  • Muse are not emo.

Song is just like every time.....beautiful.

  • Why is this so good. Every Muse song just to good to be true.

  • who the fuck has thought Muse is emo?????

  • this song gave me the chills and almost made me cry. I love it.

  • i support muse an buy there stuff, but im just saying if you buy there albums not online then it doesnt support them at all, only the store because the store already bought them in bulk.

  • @apple1231230 Stores send the CDs back when they don't sell. New releases from major bands are sold to record stores at a guaranteed sell. Anything that doesn't sell in a set time (usually a month) may be sent back for a full refund. But thanks for trying.

  • @apple1231230 when it comes to bands the money isnt in album sales it in tours and festivals

  • almost sounds like a massive attack song <3

  • @jetpackblues more like radiohead

  • @bobek3x yeah this is a lot like ther kid a, amnesiac or hail to... stuff. the detail here is that this song cames out more than one year before than those albums. the eerie showbiz b-sides proofs that muse clearly influencess radiohead.

  • @aa428507 Radiohead were experimenting with electronic ''eerie sounding'' music way before Kid A and Showbiz.

    Just listen to these examples:

    =On8ajxxQNJI <----Meeting In the Aisle

    =OWibEwJLzRs <---Climbing Up the Walls

    =mcYu5Vg_YH8 <----Talk Show Host

    =97EOxs2NUc8 <----Fitter Happier

    =NnbS7uKw6rA <-----Palo Alto

    =46fslWTGFaY <---Rabbit In Your Headlights (Thom+DJ Shadow)

  • What music genre does this -SONG- fall under?

  • @tahak93 it falls under the genre MUSE.

  • @ajsterisk haha, on my iTunes i changed all my muse song's genre to MUSE.

  • porque muse no hace mas canciones como esta??

    la amo, simplementa la amo

  • @Lirian04 Porque muse ahora mismo son unos vendidos a la industria discográfica. Desde mi punto su decadencia partió del Black Holes and Revelations.

  • Brilliant for those who enjoy a joint now and then.

When I die, I want them to play this as I'm being buried : )

  • yeah, me too!

    I mean, on your funeral^^

  • lol

  • @marruc2h2 lol

  • this would be the ultimate bachelor pad chill song

  • Go buy the songs/album and support the band. -_-

  • @museworld09 why don't you go out and buy them!!!!

  • i have all their albums...i just need to buy the singles but nv...

  • @museworld09 It's on the Hullabaloo soundtrack

  • ive decided muse is the best band ever

  • @YoungConna You just now realized that?

  • @YoungConna agreed

  • @YoungConna You made the right decision! XD

  • @YoungConna Then you have not listened to Radiohead. Riff-offs

  • @Iknowgoodmusic I have. A lot of songs, and they are really good. Muse is the best band ever tho.

  • @YoungConna I think Muse really is the best band ever.. Like, seriously..

  • @YoungConna you can't decide these things silly, they're already chosen by the gods

  • i was walking along a street alone at dusk and i was listening to this song...I had chills.. :)

  • thats the best, lol

  • i know it sound like the ultimate soundtrack to the beginning of an epic battle were 2 fighter come face to face

  • @Utangel17 Isn't it great? I go jogging at night to this theme. Absolutely amazing.

  • @Novaangle18 yep absolutely!! ;D

  • i agree

  • This song kinda reminded me of one part in their other song "Fillip."

  • seconded

  • Whose the cock-mongling queef burger that brought the emo debate onto this video.

    lol.
