  • shit they can actually replicate their songs live!!

  • what kind of camera are you filming this with?

  • haha iv seen these guys live :) i live in virginia beach

but not many people know about them here

they are a band that is slept on and thats what makes them amazing as fuck

  • Diamond for disease. Longest yet took me awhile to realize its over 13minutes long

  • he was probly standing in front of one guitar amp. amps are extremely directional with sound.

The better sound at a live show (at a smaller venue like that) is generally near the pit or even better (if the music is too loud) towards the back.

This is a live vdeo shot on a decent camcorder, be ecstatic that it sounds this good

  • James' guitar needs to be way louder. still a cool video though.

  • Great stuff.

  • Awesome.

  • i hope they didnt actually have the lead guitar up that loud, can barely hear the fucking drums over it

  • @rthavi That´s not because of the high guitar volume, it´s because of the camera sound quality. Due to the volume of the instruments in the gig the camera can´t record all frequencies properly. If were actually there, you would have heard the drums easily.

  • i miss ryan and noah :[

  • Nick sort of reminds me of what Chris Amott looked like in the 90's. Both of them are awesome, I love his guitar.

  • Wasn't this the tour with DouchebagDriver, and Besemoth? I read a review somewhere, that some groove metal fan said Arsis was boring to him lol. I swear Machine Head/Devildriver/Fagtera fans are fucking retards who clean the bathroom stalls of Walmart for a living.

  • People like different things, all of those bands to me are good, and behemoth has more balls than arsis who are great too

  • that dude is nick. he is realy fucking talented. years of classical guitar. light distortion on a marshall jcm 900. this dude played for thismeansyou. and he tought others with his gift. he showd me how to sweep properly one day at stacys music. rock on nick

  • dude i don't know, i think ryan knight fuckin rocks this guy. years of classical isn't exactly super useful in terms of death metal?

  • yes it is. in terms of hand possitioning, finger dexterty, agility, lack of tension.

classical music enables almost everything else.

  • @eetmytwinki

Are you sure that he plays a JCM900? I was about looking up his equipment because of his superb midranged sound.

  • @DerCorny i dont know if he still does. i can ask him. but i have been seeing nick perfom since 2004 when he was in thismeansyou and he used a jcm 900 with mild distortion. originaly also using gothic gibson les paul. and his custom jackson

  • dude i like this guys pants

  • drumming arsis means your a drummer a very good one to say the least and the guitar is wicked its prettty impossible to get this song 100 percent this song is a long ass song too a diamond for disease one of my favs ever

  • he kinda looks like rusty cooley in a way

  • i kinda think that arsis kinda sounds like if death were still around which is good arsis is really badass

  • A DIAMOND FOR DISEASE! I love it

  • The session guitarist or whatever isn't even playing the tapping parts... he makes it look like I could go do a tour with Arsis. Hey, I could make time for that!

  • Good video but there are some mistakes that 2nd guitar player does.

  • he's not ryan knight to say the least..

  • @dtma24 i don't understand people here on youtube.. if you write a polite comment then people anyway give you thumbs down.. and if you ask something.. same thing. the guitarist is nick cordle.
