@tommysbrowncaddy Problem with that is there is no room. the 4BT is 3 time the HP and 4 times the torque and it fits. I have a 6BT on hand and there was no way to get it in there.

Stop trying to tell everyone on all these videos about how great GM products are. Oil "blows" past the piston rings. And oil is burned. Combustion gases also go past the rings into the oil pan and contaminated the oil. All-in-all the oil gets messed up faster than usual, spark plugs (gassers) get all fouled up, exhaust valves get caked in burnt-on oil, catalaytic converters (gassers) are ruined.
Throw a 5" tip on it. Sounds like a big rig and so much fuckin whistle. I'm gonna do it this summer, sounds great. 2.5" straight pipe gets old and its never loud.
Great Car. My 1975 240D moves my 3400lbs. steel body around like no gas engine could. And it has power and acceleration when needed. It's amazing considering it's age and reliability. Once you go Benz, you never go back.

Straight pipe drones too much at freeway speeds. I now have an aero-turbine muffler on it. You want a straight through type muffler for the turbo engine.
What do you know. 300SD's were know for their speed, especially ones that run perfect, but he put the 5 cly turbo engine in a car set up for a 4 cyl engine..
Who ever uses the pickup in their vehicles anyways!? I once ownce a MB190D diesel and ended up being 100ft ahead of cars after the light turned green, after a short time AND those cars had almost 3 to 4 times as much horsepower! It's really irritating when I'm in a slow diesel car and the light had turned green for several seconds and there is a car infront of me with like a million horsepower that doesn't give it the gas.
The way I see it, if you drive slow, get a slow car and get better MPG while you're at it or just stay off the road completely because you people ARE causing that 5-mile long traffic jam in the city or rubbernecking on the highway because the people behind you are trying to go places and do things and have a life to live. Either way both fast and slow cars will do well above 70MPH which is the top speed limit I've seen anywhere on the express way.

yeah ive noticed that too. its not so much the power youve got but the way you use it. plus turbo diesels have plenty torque.
