  • my favorite truck to

  • he was using a s10 for bait

  • a mechanic LOL

  • Fix

    Or

    Repair

    Daily

  • I'm not going to read all the comments, so sorry if it has been addressed. I grew up in South Florida and that's where it looks like it took place. I spent a lot of time around boat ramps. When there was a lot of algae we would use a tow strap tethered to another vehicle. I've seen this happen a few times and it is preventable..

  • if it were a chevy it wouldve been rusted into a coral reef

  • just a ford no big deal lol should have bought a chevy

  • It's what a Ford is supposed to do, ANCHOR!!!!!

  • I hope they rolled the windows up before it sank, you know, to save the upholstery

  • Holden is a prime suspect in this murder

  • that sucks... hope you had insurance

  • Knowing a ford it probably wasn't running in the first place

  • wow , poor thing had its frame stretched out. Who did you hire to extract it, a grade school drop out? why not winch it out on its wheels and save it the stresses. Compressed air bags under to help it hop the ledge and tow on wheels...

  • @mi16t its a write off anyway

  • what a catch!

  • thats my fav fishing rod

  • at least nothing of value was lost.

  • What kind of bait used to catch a ford?

  • @lynxconstruction A Nice Big bail out....

    Bazinga...

  • @lynxconstruction honda civic

  • @lynxconstruction a sinking chevy

  • this might ruin much more than a saturday... more likely ruining a month

  • ...who gave her the keys?

  • Couple comments here. First, here is a tow bill I would not want to get in the mail. Second, maybe you should get the recovery for free for how the morons destroyed the bed of the truck with the strapping. And lastly, we wouldn't of had this dilemma in the first place if the owners of this ramp had kept up on the algae removal like they should have. Do I smell a lawsuit? What was the outcome of all of this (financial responsibility, truck's outcome etc) if you don't mind me being nosey? LOL

  • @dshmechanic The insurance company would total it out. I have seen it before. I love it when they pay in full and sell it back at a huge discount.

  • it can't swim!!!

  • Ford = Found on road dead..

  • @getawayred First On Race Day.....you must be referring to the Chevy's sitting on the road waiting for a real truck to tow them home.

  • @walkerusn Nope I'm for sure talking about a Ford

  • @getawayred It is such a sad day when the only American car manufacturer had the foresight to build more fuel efficient and powerful cars like the new Mustangs that will run circles around the big block Camaro's. We aren't talking Shelby's either. I know I own a 2007 GT and it has yet to beat on the street or the strip, especially when it is racing between gas stations. My stang gets twice the mileage and beats the best camaro or challenger on the road. Pocketing the savings!

  • @walkerusn big block camaro???????????/your a fool big blocks been out of production for decades in cars..............you can keep your rustang

  • @jkc1975 No, you are the fool....I work on camaros and know about their weak spots, in fact a lot of their valve trains are upgraded with Ford parts. You can keep your nasty ass chevies....they stink, they rot and they are a nuisance on the street. This comment does not apply to other GM owners at least for now.

  • @walkerusn ford valvetrain on a chevy how much crack are you smoking the rocker ratios arent even the same in the new design engines as for the old the rockers are the same ford or chevy dummy..............another imbecile who doesnt know a damn thing imagine that....................keep your ford junk.............and I AM a shop owner and REAL mechanic not some shade tree wannabe like yourself

  • @jkc1975 whats the LS7 again?

  • @fluffykittynoodles ls7 has not been offered in a production car in two decades try again.......................

  • @jkc1975 really? whats in the C6 Z06 again? pretty sure its a LS7.

  • @fluffykittynoodles dimwit the ls7 is NOT A BIG BLOCK CHEVY and your an idiot.............it is a complete redesign all investment cast aluminum and doesnt even remotely resemble the ls 4 5 6 and 7 big blocks of the 70s.................so you wanna try again or make yourself look like a bigger ass?

  • @jkc1975 how is it not a big block? its 427 cubic inches displacement is a pretty heavy argument that it is a big block. the ONLY thing it shares with a small block is the cylinder spacing, and thats just to save weight/space. what does it matter that it doesnt resemble the big blocks of yesteryear? its 2012 dude, i hope they have advanced motor designs since then.

  • @fluffykittynoodles It is not even close to the same and you are still an ignorant moron..........big block versus small block designs were called that from block desings...........again stfu moron..............

  • @jkc1975 wow, what makes you think that calling me names, and telling me to shut the fuck up is going to make you the bigger man? so much for an intelligent conversation. umadbro? troll harder.

  • @fluffykittynoodles the fact your lack of knowledge doesnt really mean anything your statements of ford valetrain on a chevy especially latemodel chevy speak volumes of your lack of intligence you should keep quiet and drive your ford...............me a troll hahahahahha no I just know wtf im talking about unlike you

  • Is the boat okay?

  • For Sale. 4WD Chevy. Good condition. Never submerged.

  • its a ford it will still run

  • @NICK542542 This is a very true statement. Change the oil out, flush the fuel system and let it dry out a bit and it will start up. Even the computer cars are water tight.

  • @NICK542542 Its a ford, it never ran right anyway. :P

  • @NICK542542 no it wont

  • @NICK542542 get fucked it will, how do you think it ended up in there

  • @deluca286 ended up in there? what are u black

  • @NICK542542 nope better get a chevy

  • shoulda bought a hovervcraft

  • so what happened to the truck? insurance pay for it?

  • @sowhatlongdong me 2

  • call state farm, shouldda bought a chevy.

  • I hope the water is OK.

  • Shit...that sucks. I hate fords but i wouldn't wish that on any one! Im sorry dude!

  • I want to know who the idiot on the crane is? There was no reason to have that wrapped around the bed, and to squeeze the truck like that. Pull it up slowly with the winch and let the water drain............total moron!!!

  • @Bigwill6363 Seriously! Those idiots caused another few thousand in damage by lifting the bed like that.

  • just let it dry change the oils and start it back up

  • That's why I have 4X4

  • if it was a chevy... you prolly could of drove it out of there... just saying

  • @dough1452 if it was a chevy it would probably be a big zero like your uploads just saying

  • @ikaikaboy88 sorry i dont make videos i just watch um :)

  • @dough1452 lol well you know what they say judge something and have ten other people judge you just saying bro

  • You can catch fish this way. Drive your truck in, roll down the windows, wait an hour, roll windows up and drag your truck out. Fish fry!

  • haha should have got a chevy

  • It's a ford, Prolly started right up!

  • @VeNTiioNz and gull the cylinders and all the bearings while your at it great idea :)

  • show me the carfax

  • you don't need to wish it any more! it get wish the oooooo body.

  • Now I have caught all kinds of things on a fishing trip but never a truck.

  • I don't understand why they had to strap it in th e fender wells..They had it on a winch which should of done the trick. It seems all they did with the crane was kind of crumple the bed.....Maybe next investment will be 4x4 for launching boat?...lol

  • its ford u should of just left it in the water. (-:

  • @bunkerrr5 After 25 years of boating, and at the same lake no less, my buddy got a new SUV and was excited to use it to take his boat out. If I hadn't been there with my 4x4 and my boat, his new SUV would of sank that day. every time he tried to pull forward it just slipped back further. His old truck never did. My pickup nor anyone elses trucks even came close to sliding into the lake that day. So maybe you are not so smart after all. Perfect, Holy, error free and Judgemental as you may be.

  • just a little water damage

  • @country4by4 read the description he said the truck slid down the ramp because of no traction and it has happend 4 times on that ramp

  • id rather have a dodge but is everyone ok

  • its a piece of shit ford even with out the intense car wash it will all ways be a fucked over rebuilt dodge

  • so me the car fax.....

  • Trade in? More like scrap value lol

  • ill bet that ruined your sunday too:)

  • What in earths name made you think of that place to park your car? All I can say is....Dude...where's your car? ;D

  • hazzard county car wash

  • The ad says to compare to a Dodge Challenger.. Do Dodge Challengers float or something? lol

  • JUST WATCH THE TRANSPORTER MOVIE WHEN HE DRIVES THE CAR IN THE WATER, IT'LL BE FINE

  • did they really need to put that sling around the truck? I'd like to see that happen to an older truck (insurance reasons), have someone dry it out & change the fluids and drive it away as soon as they got the electrical working.

  • I'm not even going to comment against the "air in the tires" comment..... But as far as the truck bed... who cares? One it's flooded it's a total loss and salvage titled.

  • Isn't there enough air in the tires to make the truck float???

  • way to ruin the trucks bed. man diver and boom operator are morons....

  • For sale: Ford F150 reg cab. Minro damage to the bed right behind the cab (nothing major at all) CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN Truck was totally washed AND inside washed and detailed as well! Sorry, no CARFAX at this time. :)

  • AN EVEN BETTER REASON THE BUY A CHEVY THIS HAPPENED TO MY DAD'S OLD ONE BOAT TRAILER AND ALL ONLY THING THAT WORKED RIGHT WAS THE BOAT LOL!

  • im betten even with the parking brake on it would have slid due to loss of traction thanks to algea had that happen to my uncle once but luckly he modded his f-350 for mudden so he was able to get it out with little damage

  • Ever hear of a parking brake? Its that little pedal on the far left!!!!

  • Submaford. Up periscope.

  • WHERE IS THIS SO I KNOW NOT TO PARK THERE?

  • The only reason I like this video is because it happened to a Ford :-)

  • @phin3s gook bitch. go drive a prius.

  • @xKENN3DYx I am an america, kid. I drive a Chevrolet 2500HD with a 6.6 liter diesel. Best truck you could every ride in. Would never drive japanese garbage or a Ford.

  • @phin3s The only true American car manufacturer is Ford. They were first and all the other guys who started car manufacturing worked at Ford plants. Chevy's are built cheap thats why you see construction workers in Fords, not GM or Dodge products.

  • @walkerusn Nonsense, Oldsmobile were well established by the time Ford came along, and they were not the first American auto manufacturer either.

Sheeesh I know this and I am not even American... I live in New Zealand!

  • @phin3s I got one better than that, a full size Escalade and a 100,000.00 cigarette boat. The boat was still strapped to the trailer when launching. The boat in the water, so did the escalade, total loss. GM products suck....GM - Great Mistake. This truck slid down the ramp with brakes locked. GM vehicles suck! Never had that kind of problem with my Ford. Must be the mentality of GM drivers to state such a stupid thing. GMC - Gotta a Mechanic Coming.

  • @phin3s I was just thinkin' the exact same thing.

  • wax on wax off

  • typical ford

  • @wmv3 It has nothing to do with it being a Ford. It was either bad tires or a bad driver. You are ignorant.

  • AH its a ford leave it where it is boys

  • Delta Sonic Super Kiss?

  • It didnt sink. It just ran out of fuel. I remember that commerical of the new submarine ford that was coming out. I didnt want it. Instead i bought the ford that can climb mountains.

  • I CAN SEE AD ON CRAIGS LIST- NEW CARPET,REBUILD ENGINE,FREASH WAX

  • when the tide is low marine plants that grow near the bottom of the ramp are exposed. If the truck has no 4wd, then trying to either use the parking brake or pull out can let the boat slide down with gravity. At some ramps, front wheel drive can be better, since those wheels are on dryer, and less hazerdous ground. your boat has to be small enough to be pulled by it though.

  • either bad tires or an idiot driver.

  • My 2wd 2.3l Ranger wouldn't have slid down tjat flat of a ramp! Not truck's fault it went swimming...Operator error!

  • @OTKBoots1 you dont know what kinda of cement it is. It might be verry slippery since in the description it says its happened 4 times on this ramp. plus alge getts slippery as hell so maybe driver maybe bad situation maybe some of both. neither of us were their so we dont know.

  • See, fords are boat anchor's

  • Ford, built to be completely submerged under water and get pulled out by a customized chevy with a huge ass lift on it. fuck yea

  • @LifesGoodIn2012 Ummm...there is no chevy pulling this truck out...you dumb?

  • @LifesGoodIn2012 chevy? i dont see a chevy

    fucking retard

  • @LifesGoodIn2012 When did chevy oh i mean GM since they wouldnt use the chevy badge on a commercial specific vehicle ever make a semi?

  • @LifesGoodIn2012 But.............. the tow truck wasn't a Chevy?

  • i think my F-450 with a 5' foot lift kit and a cb radio could .

  • Slid down the ramp? Did you spill oil on the ramp first? The only two ways it ended up like that was 1) You put it in neutral and it rolled or 2) It was in reverse and you gave it throttle. I work at a marina and have the same type of launch, and no one has ever just slid down a low angled ramp like that before.

  • "Recently washed interior."

I wonder how many Chevy's got sucked down there and left.

  • they should have left it down there, pos ford!

  • F- ucked

    O- ver

    R- ebuilt

    D- odge

  • They went Chuck Norris and rented the crane ! ! !

    Can it get any dumber?

  • dum use a tow truck not a crane lol

  • @MrBear2nv there's a drop off at the end of ramps, tow trucks can't pull the truck over it

  • damn that sucks

  • is that on car fax lol

  • its in the water because its a ford lol

  • iTS ALIVE!!!!!

  • That ford probably runs just as good now as it did before it slid into the water.

  • 'Honey, where did you parked the truck? .. Oh'

  • That is a nice & clean truck dude !!! Put in a big tub with rice and it'll be good as new . I did that with my cell phone and it worked ... :)

  • @crlsmluis I'm unclear how growing a rice crop, using his truck as an enormous flower pot, will help his cell phone reception.

  • @crlsmluis HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That is the BEST Advice that Ive heard in a MY-TEEEEEE Long time!!!

  • @crlsmluis ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

  • Atleast it wasnt a chevy.

  • Nooooo not the Ford!!!!! Why?!?!?!?!?!

  • @catlover110157 because ford sucks!

  • how much did it cost to pull it out?

  • F-150 forsale Just washed inside and out!!! lol

  • Its a ford just leave it where it was

  • @diesel4x4x4 Amen to that!

  • ehh its just a ford...

  • @g1andrhone But if it was a Chevy!

  • @zachlee94 They are "LIKE A ROCK", but I only hear this, I'm only a Ford Owner.

  • damn ford e brakes are always failing even when its driver error its all fords fault

  • Its not impossible to get one running again after that but it will always have issues with computer and wiring and stuff like that. Best salvage it. Looked like a nice truck. I like Fords. I have had a lot of them. any truck can slip into the water like this. Nothing to do with the name.

  • i almost did that one time in my chevy silverado.it was low tide and slippery as hell.i put it in low and rode the brake until it gripped, scary as hell

  • It says why it did that on the grill........FORD

  • BUILT FORD TOUGH? NOT!!!

  • @warbirdsp51 it slid down the ramp, any truck can do that

  • FORD SUCKS!!!

  • @zachlee94 hell yeah!!

  • Your truck is not ruined...you could always turn it into an aquarium...or perhaps with an undercoating and a little waterproofing, add pontoons to that sucker, put a couple of chase lounges in the back with a cooler of beer, and hire out as Red Neck Fishing trips.

  • no saturdays fine your truck is just fucked

  • did you ever get it running after that

  • Damn there were skittles in there

  • how does someone do something like that

  • where is that boat ramp? and whats the name?

  • that looks like salt water. salt water+Truck= pile O' rust.

  • thatll speed up the rust on that ford

  • F 150 for sale....this truck is CLEAN .....inside and out!

  • Comment removed

  • How much were you smoking / drinking when this happened?

  • Ford- Found off road drowned

  • ford-found off road drowned

  • see if allstate's got ur back!

  • They should call this boat ramp The Sunken Truck Ramp

  • f-o-r-d found off road dead

  • Hi, is that the mechanic? I wanna book my car is for a tune up, I think it's got water in the fuel......
