Be honest. How is the glare for the display? I don't have a good eyesight and I need something that well lessen the glare and strain on the eyes.

@Juilkca One good thing is that it is big. You can always adjust the resolution for bigger text and other things (you can do this on any computer).

The glare is pretty bad, though. You probably wouldn't like it.I don't mind it, normally, because I prefer glossy screens, and glare doesn't bother me. In bright sunny rooms it will not be a problem. In the dark, with one or two lights on, it's fine.

You may be able to find a 27" (or 21.5") matte screen shield though.(I would recommend that option)

The only problem I've had is that sometimes it only turns on when I plug it into a different outlet, which is very strange, but probably an unrelated, strange nonetheless. I would definitely recommend this iMac, though.

I have a 15 inch iMac and I have every sims 3 game (doesn't sound like a lot, but sims games drain the hell out computers) and they work perfectly with little lag at rare times, but most of the time it runs perfectly. So on a little 15 inch laptop, what do you think it will do on a 27 inch powerhouse!? :D

@iliassakalak There are a few, but I am otherwise very incredibly happy with it! :) The only bug I have is that sometimes there are graphical artifacts on app icons and UI stuff, but not in the apps themselves, and I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

your imac takes a long time to boot up.i have the exact same model but it boot up at 15 seconds ! to do that just go to System prefrences->startup disk and choose

your harddrive it will make your imac bout up faster :)

I cant wait to get this photo, I just have a macbook and run my own photography business. This computer sucks ass for photo editing and it takes forever for it to do anything, especially with 16mgpx images. It seriously takes about 3-5 minutes for it save one single photo. Ugh. @FutureInventions Oh by the way in your video you said the imac is the same kind of display photographers use. Well not really. The glossyness affects the true to life colors. People in graphics/photography use matte finish displays. anyways Great video as well. :D

@Parknutzz This is an IPS TFT display. It conveys very true colors. Photographers use it for such reasons. How would glossiness affect the color? I would imagine that a matte display would be worse because it scatters the light, and it wouldn't have as wide a viewing angle.

@FutureInventions It makes it over saturated.. but the biggest issue is the ability to see color, because all you see is your own reflection,,especially with blacks.. Also glossy screens hurt colour accuracy exactly because of the gloss; the light coming from a particular on-screen position contains a much greater element of the light coming in from your surroundings than that from a matte screen would, even if the mix isn't consciously bothersome.
