I remember seeing this on the news since it wasn't broadcast on tv and when he kissed the floor I went crazy and was yelling at my TV for MJ to come back. I guess the 7 year old me is no different than the 24 year old me cause I still want MJ to come back.
I think this is the game that, made Mike realize he still wanted to play. Its amazing how, after this game, he and Scottie went and added 3 more championships to the franchise's history.
Michael was the greatest basketball player of all time~... He & Scottie were the greatest Duo forever! They're the two dangerous sharks that can kill anybody...
NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE Will even get close to MJ. kobe and lebron are great but there is no contest when we r talking about MJ. ITs basically MJ and "Others" !. ?U can talk about talent and being athletic but tMJ's influence on the game was beyond words. Even after 5 rings kobe could never get close to that. period!!!
Scottie deserves the recognition! What a great combo, and along with Horace, there were some great drafts. That's what it was all about! No one thought this team could win, Scottie learned to play with Greatness, and became great himself. But damn, Michael just owns him at his benefit! Even Pippen is amazed at what Mike is doing here.
was at this pippen/ameritech charity event as a kid - final game played @ chicago stadium and mj said goodbye w/ a kiss on the center court bulls logo. a true one-off game and absolute joy to watch. ty m.e. for taking me. i wish i could find the ticket stub. T_T
Watching Scottie P and MJ go head to head is just beautiful....two guys who could read each other perfectly and have the utmost respect for one another. A year later, and they were playing together again, and well on their way to another run of championship rings....
the all star games were a lot more fun to watch back then. and they were more competitive. at this year's all star game, it looked like the players were afraid to engage or play hard..
medestinier Are you a baller? you need to take a look at this - 50 inch vertical (dot) com - It's a unique training program that will help you start dunking without even going to the workout room , it's optional!
pippen blocked him in early game, because he already read jordan's jumper. but then jordan changed his move to shoot over him, pay attention on his footwork. it's just perfect.
pippen knows how to defend jordan. they play each other each time in practice. jordan is notorious when it comes to their practice. if you don't give your all, you ain't in his team
I WAS AT THIS GAME IT WAS SO AMAZING!!!!. I was 12 years old and i cried when the game ended cause i would never set foot in that place ever again. and i got to see michael play once, even though it was an exhibition. IF you want proof i have the ticket framed on my wall. what a night that was.
this is the 1st ive ever seen of this, crazy in 93 i thought Pippen was gettin better then MJ, but not getting his recognition, but this is clear Jordan murdered this Game. Anyone know how did Scottie do in this game?
dan dakich? the guy from indiana? mike was only a junior in college then. he had ability but didnt get killer instinct until he went through the piston battles of the late 80s. after that he was unstoppable. If that game wasnt pippens charity event jordan would have really really played had it meant somthing
The damn bulls had to be at their prime at the same time as the Jazz didn't they. They foiled any chance for Stockton and Malone to get a championship together...
theres one other player that comes to my mind who did a great, amazing JOb on michael. his name is dan dakich. he guarded michael on his last college game which michael only scored 13 points and lost to the opposing team...
Jordan and Pippen, it's like yin and yang man. Pippen is probably the second greatest player to ever play the game, and he just happened to play with the greatest player ever.

Mayb,Mayb Not but I Know whenever Scottie Pippen Guarded Kobe He Got Tooken Advantage of But to Scotties Credit He was With Portland and The Houston Rockets when That Happen and wasnt In His Prime but Yea Pip Locked People Down over the Years in his Hayday!

I remember seeing a Ron Harper interview on NBATV where he said watching Jordan and Pippen go at it in practice was one of the best things you could ever see. They were truly at their best when going at each other. Too bad there were no cameras in there. It doesn't look like they were really going full out in this charity game.

Didn't jordan once say Ron Harper was the best he ever played against, before he (harper) was with the bulls or got bad knees?

Scottie had no intentions of Jordan comming back to play, he wanted him to come out for the final game that was to be played at the Chicago Stadium
