We use to live near here. What a trip....................what a show when you reach the top, that's where I want to rest my weary bones.......Idaho Springs, what a great town. Now we are where its warm, but the memories are still fresh in my mind today anyway. :-)
Hey nice video! I went up there with my wife on back on a 2003 R1150RT. It was the 1st week of Sept. and it was very cold and VERY windy. When we got to the top I was afraid to get off my bike cause the wind would blow it over. I was movig around on the side stand. My poor wife said "we're never getting off this mountain. I think she thought we were gona die up there. It was beautiful though. Can you believthe bicyclists? Man they gotta be tough.
Thank your for your comments. My video on this post ended for two reason. First I catch up to slow traffic on the last few miles before the summit. Two we are only allowed 10 minutes of video to post on YouTube. I do have the complete ride on DVD video with 5.1 Surround Sound.
Very nice. I made the trip to the peak a couple of times during my stay in 2002. Too bad your video ended before you reached the conservatory. Thanks for the memories.
Thank you so much for recording this, it's perfect! The last few miles were closed when I went to Summit Lake in September, but watching your video is darn close to going all the way up myself. Now my family can see how incredible it was, and I can re-live the thrill. Thanks!
its a great video - you have had great fun sure.

Man, I'd like to go there. In the Northeast there's only small mountains (by small, I mean 6,288 feet and under).
