Actually Heavenly Sword had very humanistic facial expressions. I'm wondering if they used this same method/technology as L.A. Noire.

Yeah i agree, looks awesome, but as far as i know, most of the scene's where Real time recordings wile the game Loaded the next chapter in the background.

And that knd of make's it less impressive from a technical standpoint.

L.A. Noire is probably my most anticipated game. I was born & raised in L.A. and want to see what it looked like back then. Plus I'm a fan of mystery/crime solving. The creators said 90% of the crimes in the game were based on real crimes that happened in the 1940's in Los Angeles. And they looked at thousands of old photographs, maps, news articles, and police records to get all the streets down.

Wow, I wasn't planning on looking at any info on this game or Agent because I figured they'd be like GTA and I've never been interested in GTA, but you made it sound interesting. I been wanting to play a game based on the 40's that was done realistically. I thought Heavy Rain was the only game doing something like this.

I got the GameInformer magazine, I got the article but I haven't had time to read it yet. Thanks for summarizing it up for me, sounds really interesting. I like detective type stuff, and I like Mass Effect, so this sounds pretty cool. Also, the screen shots look pretty good, their faces look really well done. I think so far the best looking faces I've seen in games are in Heavenly Sword and Heavy Rain, if LA Noire beats those two, then we're going to see some really realistic looking faces.

I think the bar will honestly be set when FF Versus 13 shows it's gameplay face and Nomura laughs at all the doubters, judging by the FMVs and Nomura saying those will also be the in game graphics...it's the best looking game I have ever seen. Better looking than Crysis in my opinion.
