I have had both at the same time, best buddies. My surviving female Lab is 12 and still strong and crazy like a pup. She is a Guide Dogs of America school drop-out we volunteer foster raised for them from 8 weeks. Such a sweety.

@Samiiee96 english labrador retrievers do exist. original labrador retrievers were bred in labrador ,canada from newfoundlands i think. but they were brought to england a while back. compared to labs in northern america labrador retrievers in englad and a lot of other countries are shorter in height, more muscular and lil aggressive. its same as american bulldog and english bulldog.. the size is smaller..
You have there a English lab vs a Golden retriever, English lab's are very strong, They do have a lot of muscle power and You can see it on this video.
