yea,the last time bulkang mayon errupts was 1990 if im not mistaken, cuz thats the time i was born tho...my mom say's were was in the hospital in manila on that time when the mayon errupted
I laugh at the idiot who mentioned Ozone as a contributing factor to an imminent eruption! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!! You have the intelligence of a rock or some cheese eating high school boy! In fact I laugh at all of the posts on here!!
After my morning swim and studies I must try and post on here the answers to all your questions!
All you people posting on here seem to think that you are well taught in the ways of the Volcano! You really know nothing! Your stupidity mocks me!
I will try and tell you more about what is happening here on further posts but that will be after dinner and my studies! I will tell you when I think it will explode!
You can still tour the volcano if you wish. If you have enough cash and want to take the chance our local military can be bribed quite easily. We let three tourists go on their own last week at a price of $5000.00 per person. Most likely we will never see them again because of the death factor involved. Also our government takes convicts to the crater top as well and we never see them again either!!
Hot Molten Magma is not a critical factor to people living at the active Valcano. But the proclastic flow from the huge cloud with the themperature exceed 800C and travel at speed 350Km/h down the slope is verry dangerous..U can burn alive !!. this is what happen to the people of Pompie in Italy a long time ago ..
the ozone layer has nothing to do much with volcanic eruptions Mayon's destructive eruption was back in 1814 and would u say that at that time the ozone layer's already been damaged? its called an active volcano because it erupts.not unless if it would have been some dead volcano or something.since everything is connected to everything in this world which we call the circle of life.with the volcano we really can never dug down to the very reason why volcanoes erupt.. Only GOD knows.
The main reason for the eruptions from volcanoes is the heat deep within the Earth's mantle. This heat slowly melts rocks to create a slow moving substance called magma. Magma is lighter than the solid rock around it so magma rises and collects in magma chambers. After a while the magma pushes through vents and fissures in the earth's surface. Then a volcanic eruption occurs! The magma comes out and is now called lava.
~It's not because of the thinning of the ozone layer.. OKAY.
I am sorry to disappoint you but with all due respect, the ozone layer has nothing to do with volcano eruption, volcano eruption are as natural as you and me going to have a pee and a poo. That is but a normal process that happens when an eruption is due. Check out the Climategate and the lies of Climate Warming which has been masaged and so change into a name called Climate Change. Keep informed
No sir, a vulcano erruption is definately affecting the ozon layer! As it does to the climate. A small one like Mayon won't I think, because they ejected gascloud is too small to reach higher regions, but they all (especially the really big ones) spit out masses of bromine oxid which can be really damaging to the ozone layer.
With all due respect maybe you should try to read what people type before you reply. He says that the fumes from a volcano can affect the ozone layer. And even if it's wrong you should know that wikipedia mentions bromine as one cause of ozone layer being reduced.
i'll have fried rice with whatever he is ordering!
