What is it with you Dutch at the moment? - that when the euro-zone is collapsing you can produce so many Supa-sensational female vocalists of world beating quality - better than any we got currently i.m.o. Can we borrow a couple (well one would do for me) ?
What a feeling - when you know you've written a winner and you've got a class act to sing it. That feeling of triumph and exultant power over an audience ('wow' power). And these guys have it. And know it. And feel it don't they (look at Robert at 3.55). This killer version of a killer song should command an audience of 15 million not 15 thousand.
Her voice is really good in this video. Very different from her recorded album voice, but both are amazing. It's a lot easier to understand her in this version than the "official" version.
Well I'm glad I discovered this in acoustic version first because I'm not keen on 'commercial version' nor 'dance remix'. W.T. describe it as 'feel good' -which it would have been if I'd not seen 'video' and short films associated with it. They are 'feel bad', not pleasant to watch and just dont go with this song - they even contradict each other. This could have had a great (feel good) video to it. But Ive now got to erase those from my mind and just listen to this (imagining my own video!)

I lol at the people who so strongly dislike WT's new music and want them to change their style back. Obviously not true WT fans if you can't appreciate something new and different.
@jezkn during their first performances she was, but I´ve noticed that she´s sining the highest notes more easily now than for example in lowlands fest 2011
@agominator Actually - listening to it again, I quite like that slight, unusual huskiness in her voice - especially for this song - maybe she can turn it on when she wants to!
@jezkn i think it´s different, for example when she sings ITMOTN she normally moves a lot, so breathing can become difficult and that´s awful for your voice, but she´s improving, lowlands fest was moths ago, and Sharon trains herself pretty hard, I think they shall film the DVD in febraury at the most, they said their new album would come at 2013 at the latest
@agominator When you say film - do you mean there will be a video to this song? That would be fantastic - with Sharon wearing some of her trademark exotic, flamboyant outfits ?
But seriously I love the totally different husky style of her singing on this song as much as that high soaring purity she can achieve on her older stuff. To me she's added another dimension to her voice. I hope she does both. But if it's just down to a mild dose of flue. Maybe Not !!!
@jezkn amm, there´s actually a Sinéad´s video, and I think it´s pretty much their most commercial and best video, not to mention there will be a movie based in the whole album. But what I´m saying is that if with THOE they were commercial, now thusands more people know them, they have one of the best live shows in female fronted rock/metal, and they´ve released 3 live DVDs, and know when they have all of this, they will obviously release a whole new live DVD with a fucking ass-kicking show!!!!
Lol. I bet they calculate out they dont show too many baldies in 1 time. I mean, 3 are bald. In the video of sinead they only show 2 guys well , and the other is kinda avoided.. maybe 3 baldies is too much? Not usre. That one guy had pretty cool spikes some years ago
This is the reason why I like and appreciate WT since the very beginning of their work. This is magnificent piece of music, sang by the one of the most beautiful vocals these days.
@EmbraceWithin yeah, they gave a more commercial sound when she sings the lower parts. compare the promise and ITMOTN and you can see her mezzo voice is now more agressive and not that good
She has stunning vocals. This is very good. I like her style. Within Temptation is one of my favorites.
