Thanks so much for watching Sargon!! I hope you're a LoGH fan too!! If you dig this kinda stuff and wanna see moar, def subscribe if you want. Thanks again! :)
@naikanomtom Oh am I a fan of LoGH. I consider it one of the greatest anime and sci-fi I have ever seen. I rank it right up there with Babylon 5, Gundam and Star Wars. Although I do put LoGH a bit ahead of all of those some what.
Thanks so much for watching Leni!! Glad to meet another LoGH fan here on YouTube!! I may be making more of these in the future (cross your fingers!), but if you dig this and interested in seeing other AMVs in a "similar" vein, please subscribe. Until then, have a great sunday!! Cheers! ^__^
Thanks for watching Jon!! If you want to see moar of this junk, be sure to subscribe. I got tons of these vids made, and moar being planned, so stay tuned :)
Awesome stuff! Premium quality AMVs you have here! I love how the music matches the sense of scale, trepidation, and fluidity of the battles in LoGH! You always seem to do my favorite shows justice! (LoGH, City Hunter, and HnK) The ending sequence with the dialogue and the music together gives a real good idea of how central Yang and Reinhard are to the conflict and the story. Love it!
Trunx, thanks for the wonderful comment man!! I appreciate it!! LoGH is one of the most UNKNOWN OVAs out there, so I'm glad that a fan feels that I've done the series "some" justice :-) For this AMV, I just had to end it with the dialogue because, as you mentioned, you need to revisit the idea that Yang & Reinhard are essential to the overall plot of the series. Thanks for watching trunx, YOU RULE!!
Hi lizard, I listed there as any person would. If someone made a fight choreography film that mirrored Jackie Chan's tight choreography, then chances are, they would list Jackie Chan as a keyword. Since I'm using a somewhat repetitive score to capture the mood of the last battle that is NOT as epic as Bolero, I decided that I might as well list it. Walter Amos was missed that there was no Bolero, but was fine with this. If you'd like to be a purist, please put a thumbs down
While it seems odd to watch scenes of that battle without "Bolero" in the background, I think this is a nice teaser video for the series... it gives a sense of "wanna see what happens next?"
Duly noted. Bolero is irreplaceable for those moments, especially up to the point where Yang comes in, but this movie somehow seemed right for the song :P Thanks for your critique "Rheinhard". Always glad to hear from a legendary LoGH fan, lol. ^__^
As much as I love Macross or Gundam and all, LOGH is completely in a realm of its own. It's more often compared to Western sci-fi shows and it's one of those rare anime series that even non-anime fans could (or should!) be able to appreciate. Simply put if you like sci-fi/space drama, do yourself some ultimate justice and check it out!
Awesome goodness!

I didn't hear Ravel's Bolero, so why is it listed in the keywords?

So this is the famous Galactic Heroes OVA. Looks like it would fit my taste very well... Macross without some stupid singer girl :P

I've not watched it yet but, Legends of the Galactic heroes is considered a classic now. It came out in the late 1980's.

@Gigastorm24 ...well it STARTED in the late 80s (with this movie) but the series continued being produced for over a decade!
