The source is Gallup. And most polling organizations do try to be accurate. That's why their respective numbers generally line up with one another during the election cycle, even though one organization may be run by right-wing leaning people, and another run by left-leaning people.

I used to spend time with Black Separatist and Black Muslim folks, back in the anti-Vietnam War days. I have read Malcom X, MLK, Wright, Cleaver, Ralph Ellison, Jomo Kenyatta, & more. One of my favorite books is "Manchild in the Promised Land," by Claude Brown. So I am not your typical Honkey Repub conservative.
