  • Short And Sweet! that was great

  • Is that guitar made by Jose Ruiz Pedregosa? I have one and it sure looks similar.

  • go slower and speak please. good technique but a tad too fast to follow

  • @TheLydianRocks if you can't follow this you can't follow anything. Video is in slow motion and there is no need to speak when someone shows you what to do, like this guy did.

  • that is so sickk ahh

  • Nice lesson!!! But what chord r you holding?

  • @GeorgeSoloist F#minor

  • This is more like a gypsy kings rumba, but not really a rumba flamenca ! Unless the year was 1955!!!

  • show de bolaa!!!

  • Bamboleo!!!:D

  • @biohazard022 how long did it take to learn this style of playing???

  • go longer in the end : D

  • @Shizmixin ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH YOU !!! FTW :D

  • master

  • please upload more :)

  • suena vergitas

  • what song???

  • you are really good

  • I wish it was longer...

  • YouTube should add a slow motion button. Great video.

  • i got a boner over that ending bit

  • el acorde como es

  • I feel dumb I can't do thay >_< I TRED AND I CAAAAANT DOOOO EEEEEEEEEET...

  • @Pucadupr practice practice !! :)

  • wow. but still very hard for noobs like me :D

  • i like it, now i like flamenco.

  • yesss yavrummm :)

  • sounds great! im gonna learn it now!

could you please show your play a bit slower and on a close-up - or anyone else able to play this? however im doing, it doesnt sound like that ...

  • a little slower would have been nice.

  • Fm#

  • Awesome, so easily explained, just like it's supposed to be :) Thank you!

  • thank you...

  • Awesome mate! It's the Golpe with the down stroke I can't nail! Rumba and flamenco is like learning the guitar from scratch! Please post a video of a chord progression just for entertainment purposes, the rhythm is great!!

  • Question: do you use standard tunning for flamenco?

  • @alexmejia26 Yes. Often however flamenco uses a capo to adjust to singer's voices.

  • @alexmejia26 This is correct :) Most flamenco songs are in standard E A D G B e tuning, however there are a couple flamenco songs in other tuning :) There's no barriers that limit flamenco. Flamenco comes from the heart.

  • thank you!!!a simple lesson to make a start!

  • OMG o.O

  • I could listen to the last 8 seconds on a loop and never get tired of hearing it.

  • its 7 strums then the slap. count as u practice. that first message was kina confusing.

  • woooooow this guy has 1 video and it seriously is the dopest.. its probably not even in correlation with his profile. i analyzed the pattern. forget the first 4 seconds, its, up with fingers down with fingers up with thumb down with thumb (strumming A or D string (instead of E) ) up with thumb down with fingers up with thumb slap might sound confusing just memorize that pattern keep watching, see your self doing it and yalls be handling in no time.
  • Nâo é difícil, mas para quem tem "vícios" com outras batidas se perde um pouco e demora bem mais para aprender....

  • Chord, please ! if this damn video can teach us to play flamenco.

  • LIKE THE THEME SONG FROM CHOCOLAT.

  • f***great bro .. i gotta speed up my tune!

  • nah he cheated when he went fast, i want a high speed camera on that man

  • Respectable, very good, thanks =)

  • hey what chord are you using to strum? amazing technique

  • dude, you are brilliant !

Around two years ago I learned how to do it, by watching your video many times and trying to match my strumming with yours and Gypsy Kings songs.

  • What chord is he playing?

  • @maritza123juarez

    Maybe E7... MAYBE.

  • This is a very nice version of the Rumba. I have not figured how to play the fast version. Somehow the fast version is different. I belive the emphasis is on certain stokes which I have not figured out. Has anyone figured this out? I wish this player would expand on this lesson.

  • fssdfasaf

  • one of the best flamenco rumba lessons on youtube!

  • j'ador ce ke tu fai i like musique

  • Is the rhythm different when he starts playing fast? It doesn't sound the same, and when I play the rhythm very fast he is showing us, it does not sound like that.

    Is it just extremely fast?

  • I have this same problem. I think he starts playing just after the tap on the guitar. Look at the slow part. So I'm counting eight strokes before he taps and three strokes after tapping. Ik hope I'm right and yes; he;s fast !

  • The fast part sounds different to me than the slow part.. Wish he could post another video!

  • Amazing .... You must upload more videos and keep it a bit longet :).

  • can you tell me how is your first movement??? do you touch with the index finger?

  • its a pluck with the pulgar / thumb and a tap (on soundboard) with the anuar / ring finger at the same time, although variations exist by using other fingers.

  • GRACIAS!! (=

  • I tried it for hours but I can not get that fast and reach that awsome rythm.

Sometimes I think he plays something different when it is getting fast, but I fear I am wrong.

  • on CG it is a bit different

  • Thanks for replying . What please is CG?

    Thanks for answering.

  • classical guitar

    fg = flamenco guitar

they are similar looking but made and sound different

  • it is an F sharp minor:D

  • which chord is it?

  • That is amazing.....

  • OMG!

  • que rechimba esa hijueputa

  • "Golpe"

  • Golpe!! @.@

  • damn his good!

  • wath s this technique s call?

  • Golpe

  • i keep watching this over and over.. i love it. just bought my first classical guitar today :)

  • Cab't figure this out need slower version

  • I did not ask you and I did not ask your idea about it.

  • Perhaps you could just try it yourself ... And just keep practising , you'll soon get better at it , practise makes perfect :D

  • 1. Downstroke thumb and tap the guitar with middlefinger while doing it.

    2. Up, down, up with thumb.

    3. Tap on guitar with hand.

    4. Upstroke with your middle and ring finger.

    5. Down, up with thumb.

This is as accurate as I could figure it out D;. Good luck.

  • @surendre91 extremely helpful....well done

  • don't stop playing that was great I can't to get a guitar in front of me and try some ...well all of those strumming technics

  • are those steel or nylon strings?

  • uhhhh...nylon ?? Can't you tell?

  • hehe no sorry, im kinda stupid:P

  • beaner

  • On the down strokes are you using the pad of your thumb or the tops of your fingernails?

  • oleeeeeee!!!!

  • thanks, when you put it all together the pulse is very impressive. you probably are a very good musician, and you are right about each player finding his own ground...but for heaven's sake, why would you call yourself "biohazzard'... like "toxic waiste " ...it doesn't sound like you play heavy metal rock. that stuff can kill the house plants, flamenco will make them flower.

  • could someone please post a more detailed video of the technique.I can't understand too much at that speed..thanks
