I saw the whole clip, for a moment I thought that Canada might be in war status and those people were caught close to the front line!!!! Don't you think that the cop's behavior was a real violation of the basic prinicples of human rights? Did they behave in a threatening manner to prompt the cops act in this humiliating manner? If Canadian law justifies the cops' behavior, human dignity is in a grave danger there.

From what I gather your trying to suggest that I would be less supportive of the police if it was some other celebrity? Nope, celebreties don't get a pass, period. Celebrities are quite capable of breaking the law, and more than a few have been caught and arrested for carrying firearms. So your arguments do not hold water.

Seriously, their honour was hurt because a woman yelled at them, get a life. The police responded appropriately and acted in a proffesional and appropriate manner during this whole thing. They were told there was a fiream, until THEY prove different, they must DETAIN and SECURE all people in the vehicle, until the people and the vehicle are searched. That is the procedure for everyone. Police aren't clairvoyant. Their priority is going home in one piece to their families

So they found camera, equipment. Like I said before the police aren't clairvoyant, they don't have xray vision, so until they physically check for themselves, they have to presume there is a fiream. I don't know what people are getting bent about, they were pepper sprayed, tasered, beaten or shot. The most was the female officer directing the one person to the ground.

Getting impatient and yelling at someone who obviously doesn't speak English is inhumane. Not allowing someone to speak is inhumane. One of the men was 78 for god's sake! I understand Terrorists come in different shapes and sizes but honestly, even on Cops they allow the person to speak, to tell their story, they ask questions.. The video shows how police check vehicles when they suspect their maybe a firearm in the vehicle. Numerous police officers have been shot and killed, by doing exactly what you suggest. Let me ask you, if someone says hey there may be a gun in that car, are you going to just walk up to the window and say "hey whats up?" I doubt it.

No one was arrested, the occupants were DETAINED, until they and their vehicle could be searched. Once no firearm was found they were released.
