  • LOL you always make me smile!

  • I like you Krystle Cole. You make me feel good just listening to you laugh!

  • Please Krystle make more videos like this.

  • wait. u put lsd in there at the end!!???? OOOOO SHiiiiiiiiiiT!!!!!!!!

  • So... Any green faries?

  • perhaps one day you'll be a doctor of psychedelic medicine

  • Love your shirt! I have one almost exactly like that :-P

  • one sip and you too can enjoy an aftertaste of several hours!

  • Intelligent, sexy and wonderful!

  • I wanna see green faeries :) Nice video!

  • Aw... you're so cute. :3

  • I thought you lite it on fire.

  • @omgitsthefuture yeah i was expecting that too

  • no glasses. she looks hotter although i was always a fan of the nerd look

  • Press "2" for a Surpise!

  • your just wonderful! I wish more girls wore like you, too bad that's not the case :(

  • this is horrible, you never water down absinth, what is this? like you dont water down liquor

  • i love you!

  • haha nice! i think this video is extrasexual; the way she handles the glass and the colour of the drink....!

  • She's going to feel that in the morning...LMAO

  • Awesome channel, keep up the good work

  • Drink it when x fade away, that will bring your mood back, and you'll be happy...very happy.

  • My first and only experience with Absinthe over a year ago was very enjoyable. My girlfriend (who hates alcohol) and I sat down in a nice cozy enviroment with a friend and we each had several drinks. Both of us shared the thought that we were really clear headed although very intoxicated... It sparked calm, intelligent conversation, and creativity, rather than drunken, debauchery fueled, dumbass behavior... Very nice night.. Without feeling like a dumbass the next day. :D

  • I wish they'd just legalize LSD...

  • Will You marry me?

  • I thought the US banned absinthe unless it contains a very small amount of thujone. You can get absinthe kits with a more traditional amount of wormwood in them. It's thought the hallucinogenic effects historically attributed to the drink were due to dies that were added to turn the drink a darker shade of green. The thujone and other spices create a more cerebral feeling.

  • Extracted from the wormwood plant.

  • like your channel, keep going on with educating :)

  • I'm really fond of the change of pace in this vid :D

  • And another fact, don't know if it was mentioned in the vid:

Most Europea Absenthes have limited content of Tujon because of its hazardous and poisonous effects... but this substance is also the reason for the psychedelic effects and it's infamous history...

According to rumors the content of Tujon in eastern Europe should be higher than in lands like france, germany and so on...

  • La Fée seems to be the most original brand of Absinthe in production.

Trust me, you won't feel anything off it, been there, done that

source: me ! ricard, pernod and general lover of anything that tastes of anise so dont go falling in a swimming pool full of it KC because i'll eat you up !

    xXx

  • Another method to drink Absethe is to first put the sugar cube on the spoon, then let the absenthe flow over the sugar cube, then set the sugar cube on fire and when it caramelizes and bubbles, put it in the glass and at least, fill the glass with water.

    Greets from germany ;-)

  • When did they legalize absinth in the US? When I left 4 years ago it was illegal, went straight to the French supermarket and was disappointed by the effects. It did give a very energetic drink, but not much more.

  • I really like your videos, and look forward to your video of your absinthe experiences. After reading many of the comments to this video, I was tempted to take some time and refute, explain, clarify, and debunk much of the misinformation and downright lunacy that surrounds absinthe. But, I decided not to, because at some point it's a losing battle. However, I can say that what you are drinking, Lucid, is every bit the belle epoque drink of lore. The effects are due to much more than thujone.

  • THanks for the video.

  • not trying to be an asshole, but are you preggo?

  • The high is very nice, not much body high, moves are controllable. I have sometimes problems with memory blackouts. Sometimes ppl experience autopilot trips without any memory of it. It start suddenly, memory never comes back. You just find yourself somewhere not knowing what happened before, but in time of those blackouts you behave pretty decent, not aggressive or dangerous. Talk is normal. When you wake up to normal you are pretty confused and ppl around you dont notice any difference.

  • In my country we do it a bit different. You put spoon with sugar cube or two on empty glass and pour some absinthe on it. Then lite the sugar so it starts to melt a bit. Slowly pour more absinthe over the melting sugar until it becomes little bit brown, caramelish. Be careful not to burn inside of glass, if u did just blow it off. When most of sugar is brown or you have enough of play pour water in it and mix it. It taste delicious.

  • I've also seen an absinthe kit (absinthe glass + absinthe spoon) that comes with a bottle of absinthe at the liquor store. Been thinking about getting one.

  • this girl is just totally obsessed with LSD...

  • @ NeuroSoup The reason why you won t see any fairys is that there s not enough Thujon in the Absynths which are available in the stores.Nowadays it s amount is restricted to 35 mg/kg(in Europe), which is way to less for a trip. So you ll rather get an alcohol intoxication than have any triplike experiences from this legal Absynth. It s said that you can get Absynth with higher doses in the Czech republic (Europe). But be carefull: It has very strong side-effects

  • @PointOfLight1 You CAN'T hallucinate from Absinthe

  • I found Absinthe to be quite a nice tasting drink, and this is from someone who doesn't drink much either. Didn't see any green entities or such. Not sure if this is true, but i heard that absinthe crystallizes in your stomach and can activated again the next day?

  • @NeuroSoup but serouly can you make a video or guide to extracting it or somehting on salvia

  • What a cosy place for a nice absinth drink ;-)

  • @3190423 'she does "NOT ADVACATE USE OF LSD" ffs.' Am I misunderstanding something in that statement?

  • Speaking of loaded sugar lumps, do you have any videos/thoughts on psychotic episodes whilst on it? Cos I took a couple lumps last week and woke up in hospital the next morning unaware how the hell I got there and why! Turns out i'd lost the plot and gotten violent. However I have absolutely no recollection off anything past the powerfull and colourfull come up!!???

Any thoughts/comments on this most welcome

  • tell vice to quit laggin and put up your vid! i wanna see u and tight jean hamilton stroll down silo bays

  • I'm sorry, but I also drink absinthe and I don't feel anything druggie about it. It's plain booze.

  • Sounds too much like hard work. I'll stick to vodka.

  • @JohnLennon100 Yes it was at one point, but quite recently it was made legal again.

  • Comment removed

  • lol this shit is stupid smoke some green and relax

  • The Absinthe beverages are just a high alcohol content drink. Not everyone likes the licorice flavor. It doesn't make you trip other than being drunk. You will have a hell of a hangover if you drink too much.

  • @JohnPavilonis

Traditionally, absinthe did not have star anise as its predominant flavor. Look for absinthe without it. Its rare, but it can be found.

  • Nowadays Absinthe is just synonymous with "really strong booze". I don't think there is any significant amounts of actual wormwood Absinthe in it anymore, so I suppose the only green fairies you could expect would be delirium tremens, which I do not recommend. It's a shame, the original turn of the century Absinthe was probably lots of fun!

  • Hmmmmm... Do you rely think that giving a comment after drinking is not good Idea.

  • i thought you are supposed to drench the cube in alc and light in on fire, so the molten/karamelized shugar dripps in the glas.

  • Same, I really enjoyed this one!

    Go Nuerosoup!

  • Wormwood Absinthe.....get it down yer screech :-)

  • LETS GET SMASHED!!!!

  • @3190423 Actually, NeuroSoup is very much a fan of LSD. You do watch her videos don't you?

  • It hits really well. :O x*x*x*x*x*xx*x

Luckily, I have made only half of that amount.

  • You should do a naked vlog

  • I drink a lot of absinthe (in Switzerland it's quite popular) and the effects aren't different than any other alcohol... but one time in a random underground bar in Spain, they had a weird, dusty bottle of Absinthe and when I tried it, it felt as if I had smoked a (very small) bowl.

  • Shes really cuuuuute!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bahahah " too bad there's no LSD on this sugar cube" hahahah you are so funny

  • You are so hott. I wish you would eat booms with me

  • Hey great video! I enjoyed learning about absinthe.

  • i really enjoyed this side of your personality.

  • @usaaok Thanks :) Yeah, I've been getting a little bored with the usual format. So I thought I'd do something different...

  • This was a lot more casual than some of your standard videos. "Too bad there's no LSD on this sugar cube!", haha! Anyways, thanks for putting it together. I've been wanting to try absinthe for a long, long time now, but never bothered to look into what I need to do so. Maybe I will give it a shot soon.

  • fuck i spelled it wrong

  • i have a questionnn.....what the fuck is absinth?

  • I've also heard that the Absinthe in the states isn't the same in other parts of the world, and that they've stripped some of the parts of it out.

  • I went to Venice not long ago, and met a traveling hippy who explained to me the proper way to prepare Absinthe to achieve the hallucinogenic effects.

Apparently the hallucinogenic effects expected are not achieved because by the time one has consumed enough absinthe to feel the effects, they would be too drunk to notice.

You are meant to pour the absinthe over the sugar cube into a small glass and then ignite the sugar cube, burning off the alcohol and concentrating the thujone in the glass.

  • Press "2" for a surprise!

  • What she forgets to mention is that for the thujones in absinthe to cause you to hallucinate, you'd have to have died from alcohol poisoning first.

So... unless you can keep drinking as a corpse, I doubt you'll see anything. One thing that many people often forget is that absinthe grew to fame around the same time as opium dens.

Opium, as we all know, can cause hallucinations, especially when combined with alcohol.

  • wait, where the fuck was i when sugar cubes had lsd?

  • Commercial absinthe and OG absinthe are TOTALLY DIFFERENT

  • Do you eat hemp seed?

  • Thumbs up if you want to see NeuroSoup do an instructional video on taking DMT anally.

  • @0pteryx

The one woman on youtube that isn't talking about hair tips and pop culture and you have to take it to that level mang? Come on. One of the few "vlogs" that is actually informative and not bullshit.

  • @0pteryx boof there it is!

  • @0pteryx Funny ;) Not gonna happen in this lifetime though...

  • @0pteryx oh gosh xD

  • @0pteryx LMAO. WTF!? you sir have one weird fetish!

  • great video, you didnt even sample it and go yuck! ha thanks.

  • Such a different sort of NeuroSoup video this time.

Any particular reason you didn't sample your drink on camera, or give a brief summary of your experience?

  • @PiratedComedy I am planning to drink several absinthe drinks at some point and do a live video report of the experience. That's why I didn't do it in this video.

  • @NeuroSoup retarded!!!! 100% smoke some good

  • @NeuroSoup If you drink several in a row at *one* point, there surely will be little differentiation-ability in the end? ;D

  • @NeuroSoup Can't wait!

  • @NeuroSoup I would LOVE to see you on blogtv drinking absinthe. I would make some just to drink along. Hell, it's been ~8 years since I've had a shot of any myself.

  • I don't think theres enough of the Thujone content in anything available in America.

I'd grow my own wormwood plant and infuse it with weak absinthe for a few weeks in a big jar just to make sure the Thujone content is up to par.

  • @ZebbMassiv I bet you'd get a better transfer with pure grain alcohol, or does the commercial absinthe have something else to it?

  • @DontTread0nMe1776 yeah it's got other genuine ingredient that make it an official absinthe. You could theoreticaly use grain alcohol but then it would just be wormwood booze. extremely horrible taste is what I remember.

  • man.... one loose kinky hippy bitch... well done

  • whitch craft?

  • That's what I tried, I kept the bottle too 'cause it looks so cool.

  • Your hot.

  • AWESOMENESS!!!

    Mitakuye Oyasin

    Kensho

  • i love this new video with absenth!!! make some more videos of "how to make..." and footage! keep up the good fight

  • I think someone misses good old Sid ;)

  • @SebbeSucksBawlz Yep...

  • @NeuroSoup you need to say you are sorry for that DEA bullshit no matter how hard you try to justify snitching you still send someone into the jaws of an immoral system. next time plead the 5th or the system will get stronger and one day you will be put in jail for just posting this info. when the book burning comes your way you will not be happy so don't pussy out say your sorry and start fighting back. karma will kill you if you don't do this (not a threat=).

  • @chinchoweed Get your facts straight. I pled the fifth during the Pickard LSD Trial. I never testified against him. The court transcripts are on the NeuroSoup website if you'd like verification...

  • @NeuroSoup Sister, half of these idiots here are LEOs still following you. My personal beef is that you have grown so far from your past that you seem to be forgetting who YOU are; sadly I suffer the same. Please, just please, do not let demonization slip back into your videos. As scientists we must remain neutral and present all relevant facts and information impartially. I know you've delved into the "harm reduction" and that is not all bad, but, never forget, the cults of power against us.

  • @SebbeSucksBawlz "Green fairy" reminds me of something: Do you know anything about Galium odoratum, known in germany as "Waldmeister" ("master of the woods") and somehow connected to the vision of the "green man" in the woods?

  • @tmafkap ...no? lol

  • I despise the traditional method with sugar, it doesn't need it. But it's also a pretty damn vile drink to start with.

The only time I had it was with a BUNCH of other alcohol and was the only time i've ever had lapsed memory or a KILLER hangover the next day.

I only had a few shots of it, could that have caused any of it??

  • true absinth you dount need suger well i should say good stuff you dount need or use sugar the crap stuff is bitter. and if you want a trip and a half buy herb pharm wormwood extract. or if you want liquer buy agwa de bolivia it hase coca leaf cor cocain. you want to seen the green farry buy the extract i told yah abought and emty it into the bottle of absenth then drink abought a 5th of the bottle you will se all sorts of colors. if if dun right and drank enuff its better then lsd

  • @vorkev1 Haha are you being for real? I have wormwood extract in my cabinet right now

  • @dilliedawg i have ben told this buy people i was never willing to drink that much cus you can overdos on worm wood. is the extract you have made buy herb pharm cus some other manufacters use chines workwood wich is not the same but herb pharm is the real thing.

  • @vorkev1 Yes sir :) Absinthe party over here! This aint gonna kill no one right?

  • @dilliedawg when ever you take any drug or for that fact anything hase a chance of killing you but i have never seen someone die from it. you can also buy pharma kava extract buy herp pharm and take 5 drovers in a little water and take it all at once on a emty stomic and get high just like being on lsd. but kava hase coused 25 people out of millions to get liver damage and 3 died. but more people have died useing asprin.

  • I'm in love with this girl. What is her name. She would be an awesome friend to have.Like I said, love her. ; )

  • @miles2057 Krystle Cole

  • @miles2057 What am I saying, I forgot her name, I now remembered it, it's Krystal!!!!

How old is she, I'm guessing late 20's, she looked high in this video.A gorgeous person, full stop in my eyes.

  • The idea of artificial color being able to alter perception while also making the drink more green in the older versions is a nice idea. When there is a lack of regulation of a substance the impurities can cause difficulties then the substance will become blamed. All drunks need coffee so they can wake up enough to kill people to prove alcohol needs to be banned then prohibition will cause blindness and other situations.

  • drank half of a bottle of lucid one night in shots. was absolutely smashed and inhibitionless (60% alcohol by volume), but my balance and vision were seemingly unaffected. we were playing hillbilly horseshoes/ladder ball and the more lucid i drank the more ass i kicked hahaha. no hallucinations whatsoever.

  • Another way to do this, the way I learned:

1)Put the Sugar on the spoon

    2)Pour Absinthe over the sugar

    3)Light up the sugar cube

    4)Put Water over it

Done, I cant tell wether this makes any difference or not ;-)

  • lsd fucked me up i dont recommend that shit to anyone

  • @eLLriDe420 lol someone had a bad trip

  • @eLLriDe420 LoL! What happened to you that it "fucked you up"? How many times have you tried it?

  • @miles2057 I started having panic attacks and became depressed for no reason days after my last trip. Ive done it about 5 times. Fucks with your brain too much, mushrooms are the way to go imo. Alot of people have had lsd mess them up

  • @eLLriDe420 Why do you think mushrooms are better? How do the effects differ to lsd and what sensations do you feel and how long is a trip, oh, and how long is an lsd trip? Thanks, I appreciate the feedback, it's knowledge to me. ; )

  • @miles2057 Lsd isnt natural for one. Lsd feels like it fries your brain, you feel mentally exhuasted after trips. Lsd takes days to fully recover from. Mushrooms are much more relaxing, and the effects are more lucid and dream like. Lsd makes you feel wired, crazy, and the come down its literally horrible. Mushrooms make you feel spiritual, peacefull, and you cherish the people you love so much. Mushrooms are not as strong, but the trip is much better. I cant describe how peaceful it makes you

  • unfortunately, modern absinthe has decreased levels of thujone in it and most modern ones contain no amounts of wormwood. you CAN however buy "make your own absinthe kits" that contain everything you need to make traditional absinthe the way our ancestors used to drink it. any absinthe in the USA has very limited amounts of authentic absinthe ingredients, if any, because of the FDA .

on another note, 2 LSD sugar cubes in a cup of any absinthe sounds amazing ;)

  • The brand she uses is reported 124 proof. My local sells a sugar cane 120 proof that is 40 dollars cheaper! What is the point? It's just an excuse to keep plants illegal! Legalize All Plants! and save your livers :)

  • what a fucking hippie lol

  • I think back in the day alot of absinthe makers added datura to the wormwood infusion.

  • This video was funny,nice :)

Put a smile on my face

  • very nice and very cute too, she is funny with green fairies.

  • this video is full of misinformation only in the first 37 seconds. also, Lucid is not absinthe, its commercially made crap for american idiots. Look up Jade PF1901.

  • I read somewhere that the hallucinogenic effects from absinthe used to be because of the wormwood barrels they were stored in. I've never had hallucinations with absinthe, but it's still pretty nice as far as liqueurs go.

  • that was cute.. i like how you keep talking about LSD. A little obsessed are we??

  • i never experienced special with absinthe, but the anise flavor was good.

  • Oh...and you forgot to set it on fire !!! :)

  • I could be totally wrong, because I don't drink much alcohol myself...but the Absinthe of the 19th century contained Wormwood, that produced the hallucinogenic effects that 21st century Americans are looking for. When Absinthe was legalize in the U.S. again a few years ago, they opted not to add the "fun stuff", i.e. Wormwood. If it''s not Wormwood, I know that something is not there that was there in the 19th century. Today, American Absinthe is just ALCOHOL.

  • @AutumnEnergy1 The Wormwood is what makes absinthe, absinthe. It's what causes Absinthe to have thujone in it, which is what she talks about in the video.

  • You are a criminally irresponsible individual.

  • @JimmyMacJones For educating individuals who are interested in the safe use of completely legal substances?? Yeah, such an "irresponsible criminal" *rolls eyes*

  • @banda5k1 You did see the end of this video didn't you, where she 'jokingly' talks about how much 'fun' it would be to pop in a LSD cube into the mix. That not irresponsible enough for you?

  • @JimmyMacJones The last time I checked joking isn't illegal.

  • @banda5k1 Thanks. I see you agree with me.

  • @JimmyMacJones Who invited you into this videos comments? Because judging how much you hate this stuff i am clueless on why the fuck you would come to watch this video. Please answer me that

  • @dilliedawg I invited myself. Why? Because I seek to get more informed on you drug addict crowd. And from what I have witnessed, things aren't looking good. Clearly you degenerate lot have anger management issues, no doubt caused or at least exacerbated by your drug abuse. There is definitely a hysterical, violent undertone to this whole drug culture. So much for 'peace man.' Yes, 'peace'... until somebody has the audacity to have a differing opinion from yourselves. Then the fangs come out.

  • @JimmyMacJones Hey, fuck you.

  • @p0k3sMoT42o You people are violent and out of control. Nobody in their right mind would associate with a drug addict. You never know when they will 'flick a switch' (whatever the hell might be going on in their drugged up and paranoid mind) and knife you in the back. Most likely because of some minor disagreement such as 'I disagree with drug abuse.' *throat cut*

  • @JimmyMacJones

Wow, do you really have no idea why "drug addicts" might be aggressive towards law ninies like yourself? Have you ever heard of the "War On Drugs"???

    Truly you are clueless...

  • @Dajida At what point did I state that I am a 'law ninny', one who advocates prohibition of drugs? I am in fact not. Try not to jump to conclusions. Try not to lash out in an overly emotional (probably drug induced) rage without considering the facts, without considering the evidence before you. For your information, I am also opposed to alcohol abuse and the use of tobacco. But that does not necessarily mean I am in favour of banning these substances, does it? Again, I am in fact not.

  • @JimmyMacJones

I'm not jumping to conclusions. Your phrasing was: "criminally irresponsible". Just own that you would like to see government highly regulate what people put into their bodies. That's OK.

But don't try to deny that you are at the crest of the wave crashing on personal freedom.

I'm overly emotional. You're overly litigious.

    bring on the nanny-state!

  • @Dajida One can be 'criminally irresponsible' without breaking laws. Such as, for example, somebody advocating that it would be a 'great idea' to get their mates together and have a contest to see who can drink the most shots and snakebites etc. before collapsing is behaving in a criminally irresponsible manner. The consequences of which could be seriously detrimental to ones health. You accept this?

  • @Dajida What I am in favour of is having people appreciating the minds that Nature gave them instead of polluting their brains with mind altering substances.

I am not overly argumentative. Just a healthy expression of my opinion, that is all. :) As you can see, I am perfectly reasonable. Certainly not deserving of the attacks from various individuals on here. But I can't say that I am surprised. That is what drugs do to do. I have a lot of experience dealing with such people during my youth.

  • @JimmyMacJones

Just to recap: you comment that the vid's creator is "criminally irresponsible" for making a video on absynthe.

And then you wonder why people thing you're loony. You don't just have an opinion against legal and illegal drugs, you have dogma. Playing the victim card isn't going to draw attention away from the fact that you would see legal drugs like absynthe become illegal.

People attack you for your loony nanny-state views, not your well rounded experience...

  • @Dajida Please stop with the ad hominem. Please address my actual statements rather than generalising what you 'think' (or want to think) people like myself believe in. It's a preconditioned knee-jerk reaction which frankly shows laziness on your part. As for calling me a 'loony' - most people (at least the ones I know) are opposed to drug abuse. But as I have stated, I do not believe in prohibition. How much more clearly can I put it?

  • @Dajida Also, if it were just a video about how to make Absinth, I would not condemn NeuroSoup as criminally irresponsible. That would be unreasonable and unwarranted. HOWEVER, the fact that she 'jokingly' advocates popping in a LSD cube (or whatever) into the cocktail, does change the situation for obvious reasons.

  • @JimmyMacJones Lighten up! Sorry, but so what if she's advocating using LSD. We can make our own decisions right? I mean you don't need to be a chemistry major to know not to mix and drink things randomly. LOL cmon...

  • @JimmyMacJones

Who are you to say that taking mind altering substances is not part of people appreciating the mind that nature gave them?

Again, your nanny-statism is very apparent: that you would be the judge of what endeavors are properly the pursuit of happiness and what aren't.

How many people die every year because of ignorance? Maybe we should make ignorance illegal!

  • @JimmyMacJones Hahah first off put down the thesaurus cuz it doesnt make you sound any more intelligent then the ignorance you love to comment. Secondly, who ever said anything about anger or drug use? Fuck is part of my normal vocabulary because i dont put much care in the literacy of a youtube comment let alone replying to trolls. This isnt a two sided argument between "hippies" and your oh so lonely but obviously superior intelligent self. Im just a person who doesnt like you / trolls.

  • @dilliedawg Actually, I am still not at all happy with my vocabulary, though yes, I am clearly more articulate than the average chav. However, I always thought that I speak plain English. Nothing pretentious about me. To answer your question, drugs and mental instability go together hand in glove.

  • No that does not answer my rhetorical question. Your not speaking plain english because even your english teacher would criticize your excessive use of forced vocabulary. Yes pretentious, thanks, that word sums you up and explains how you can first tell me you want to learn drugs yet somehow just reply as if your an expert. Your lack of common sense is enough to call you a stupid person. Do you like being hated on the internet as much as in real life or is trolling your life?

  • @dilliedawg Well now you are showing your ignorance. A rhetorical question is one which does not expect an answer. Perhaps I detected that. I don't really know how to respond to this one except to say that you wear your ignorance on your sleeve. Take care.

  • @JimmyMacJones If that was reply to my comment, then suck my cock

  • @JimmyMacJones Do us all a favor and go step on a land mine.

  • @bamboo4tameshigiri Sorry, am I spoiling your degenerate fun for you am I? Behave yourself.

  • @JimmyMacJones Rest assured, you're not spoiling anything.

  • @TokenDrone Evidently I have touched a nerve with that fellow.
