Lol you all need to suck it up, I own a 2005 Dodge Dakota and a Brand New Jamis Dakar XCR Comp. Its called a fucking job, get off your ass and go get one. O ya did I mention that I'm only 16? =)
well im 15 and i did it but it takes some saving (and a job) but its deffinatly a worth while thing because i love my cannondale and wont trade it for anything and all i payed was 600
Hi Im wondering if that my Specialized Rockhopper is the right bike for me, Its really easy to thrash around but for downhill loops shuld i upgrade my bike??
to be honest, a nice downhill bike will cost you at least £1000. You can do wingletrack like this on a ROckhopper with ease. Just don't go doing 4X with it! I do this on a bike which cost me £200 (with a few modifications) and it's brilliant!
A great shot of SC trails. Is it mounted on your helmet, looking back? It give a better perspective on speed and terrain contour than the seat-post/frame mounts. Nice job!! Cheers
hi i was wondering if some one could help me out...im only 14 and i realy cant afford a nice downhill bike but i have a raleigh mojave 5.0 and i was wondering if that a desecnt bike for moutian biking..it would be much apriteated if some one could get back to me thanks
Hi, it depends on what you want, hardtail or full suspension. I have a GT Avalanche 2.0 and it does just the job, the main attribute being the speed it climbs. It has a light durable frame, good front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and many more positive attributes! What's your budget?
Well why not keep it? I've had a look on web sites and so far it's OK. You don't want to be doing crazy downhill or anything 'cause it'll ruin you bike, just normal use of crosscountry. If you want to do anything else,(jumps) I recommend saving up money for better/stronger bike! Hope this helped...
Get to know your hardtail. Ride it and ride it, break it, upgrade bits and evolve with your bike and your skills will develop... and when you do finally get your downhill/freeride/allmountain bike the skills you developed on your hardtial to maintain a fluid line will pay off immensely.
and for the record your raleigh is a fantastic place to start and is good value when compared to trek, gary fisher etc.
So enough about worrying whether or not your bike is good enough to ride and more riding!!
yea the raleigh is a fine bike if you have the money just ride it until you break it then upgrade to a cannondale or trek hardtail or jump for taking a beating and if you want to do downhill look for a full suspension
dope. u should add music, it would make the video even more entertaining
