Saw Matt last night at the Vogue theater in Vancouver and it was all that I've come to expect from a man that I've now seen twenty-three times live since 1994.The new material was covered wonderfully by a set of musicians who translated record to live with deft touch.The old standards from the MGB days are always a welcome touch.Like wrapping an old blanket around your shoulders.I know that sounds cliche' but truisms sometime feel that way.

He doesn't do the "Aww shucks I guess I'll answer this question again" thing, he just wants to write music and perform it for people. @SmashAttackOnline what I meant when I said that, is that he seems to have a very high opinion of himself. I also went to one of his shows and in a 2 hour bracket he played about 3 songs. He talked for the majority of it, and when somebody told him to play a song he kicked that guy out of the building.

@Wucas666 Matt was diagnosed as being bi-polar a few years ago. Prior to that diagnosis, there was a lot of talk about him being a "huge douche", and I'm sure that there were moments when he was. However, since his diagnosis, he has been a great spokesperson for mental disorders and for that he is owed a great debt of thanks. My advice to you is to not be so quick to judge people.

Fav Matthew good Band song = Prime time deliverance, Fav Video = In a world called Catastrophe. Lovvvvvvvve the song and video. I can see someday Matt good being honored for his contributions to Canadian music at the Juno's someday with some sort of hall of fame award and it being his first award ever accepted at the Juno's officially. At least I hope the Juno's are smart enough to honor this guy and I hope Matt Good is "good" enough to accept it. Be a class act by both sides!
