So often the player who throws the second punch or shove is the only one who gets caught when all they were doing was responding to being hit themselves. Ejection & Suspensions.

Man it reminds me of the Knicks of the 90's with Xavier McDaniel, Charles Oakley, John Starks & Patrick Ewing!! Those were the days of DEFENSE! and no-nonsense basketball. Everybody was scared of the Knicks back then when Pat Riley started a new defensive scheme. @AJVersatility19 I was at the game. It seemed like to took forever for the officials to sort it all out before they decided the two Williamses should be ejected. I was happy though, that most of the players from both teams quickly intervened to stop the fight instead of joining the fight. Also kudos to the security.....police officers immediately formed a perimeter around the court to keep fans away--a much quicker response to the situation-unlike the 2004 "Malice At The Palace" in Detroit!

@AJVersatility19 Well, the refs were probably trying to find out for certain "who did what" to make sure they'd be fair about it. So often the player who throws the second punch or shove is the only one who gets caught when all they were doing was responding to being hit themselves. And remember, ejections are serious....the officials don't want to make a mistake as it would probably cost them their jobs. Ultimately, both players were wrong and go what they deserved. Ejection & Suspensions.
