David Suchet is the superior actor, Hercule Poirot is the superior character, Agatha Christie is the superior writer, and the asthetic choices in the Poirot series were superior. There. They aren't similar at all!

Great stuff and a lot of good work to put it together. I love both shows. I think the difference is that Poirot is fastidious while Monk is obsessed. Hercule also is full of confidence while Monk lacks it in everything but his detective abilities.

If I remember right it is from the episode "The Hollow", but, sorry, I don't remember every Hercule Poirot clip I took. It's easier for me to remember the Monk scenes. :)

It's from "The Hollow", and there's another movie of Poirot with a dog, called "Dumb Witness". The dog in the book, oh how I wish Poirot had kept him...the dog in the movie is super fluffy. XD
