If we help with the environment, maybe this wouldn't happen! The last generation and our generation has screwed up things, but now our generations trying to fix it. I don't see why people can't get off their lazy butts and recycle a piece of paper or any other recyclable materials?!?! EVEN THE SMALLEST PERSON CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO DO SOMETHING!
All this was predictable. I have been an environmental campaigner since the 70s and we have taken so much abuse and ridicule over the years. Most people, including politicians, would not listen and many still won't I'm afraid. It is just so sad. Of course the poorest will be hit first, as always, animal species are disappearing at an incredibly rapid rate and we are leaving a terrible legacy for future generations.
@kindofblue21 I was always aware of what was happening but could never be motivated to take an active role in environmental issues. For some time environmentalists were portrayed as - way out there, hippies (sorry) and tree huggers. Activists who had to much time on their hands.
Sadly much of that attitude is still there today as shown in the media. Opposing 'clean coal, nuclear or oil' means you are way out there, against the economy, jobs and growth.. Sad....
@kindofblue21 Thank you for seeing the beauty of Mother Nature and not destroying it! So many people are blind and can't see what disaster they're making in their footprints!
Some people think that this is being done to us on purpose, including me! We need to prepare for food shortages, water contamination, more natural disasters, and attacks from foreign and domestic armies. Be prepared to fight for your life. These sick bastards who are in control are playing out all these events like a game. If there was to be an out break of disease in a major city could you imagine what they would do?
@wspol624 I also saw the Documentary on the wetland destruction by Dr. Suzuki and how it effects lake Winnipeg with the algae bloom and flood control. Things are screwed up, man has been on earth for thousands of years but the changes done in the last 50 or so years will risk the survival of all man and still we go full speed ahead.
depends on how you preceive it ,,for a spring to arise the autumn or winter we live in is part of the deal too ,,in my believes however we will be witnessing the springtime as well wich makes us a lucky generation to be around this endgame,,we can just watch how the elite tries holding on to the old ,,but like in nature where all disappears in autumn ,new things grow in spring in no time ,,end of this year i expect signs of this transformation to be seen more clear all around. go with the flow
@BuschTukkerMan hey, we just talked with family in Hungary and they are also having a lot of bad weather, high wind, rain and frost has damaged many crops...Food shortages and costs will be a big issue in the fal if not before. Even we noticed that this year our food prices are up about 30%. Gas has gone from .99 a litre in Dec. 2010 to 1.23 and now it's at 1.35 a litre. We live in interesting times.
Here the foodprices are getting up too.Not good for people, there is probably going to be time near in the future that alot people can'efford there fruit and vegs etc anymore.
i totally agree pal......earth is dying and our pathetic governments are busy fighting for their ego and stupid mooncalf politicians are desecrating us in daylight.......god help us
Getting 'wild' Jcv. It's raining now, for going to be seven days, maybe ten. Our Canadian government is almost silent. Not enough troops in Manitoba. No reporting on the nuclear fallout. It's going to be a bad summer and a coming severe 2011 winter. Getting my stuff in order since 2009. Be well !
@marthasdemo Absolutely, everthing I can do. Stocking up some. Getting some silver. Got the woodstove installed. Getting all the paperwork in order, wills, power of attorney, insurance, etc. Keep the camping gear in shape, especially the water filter. Water filtration at the house. Emergency and back up power to a renewable source e.g solar with a converter. Mostly using the ice storm as a reference. Three day, seven day, two week and three month plan. Basic preparation.

we need grains and we need the countryside but looks like people win over nature.
So get ready, when there is no food, people can start eating people!
