I wouldn't go as far as saying i have "perfect" taste in music. What is a perfect taste in music? It depends on how one interprets the music for themselves.

My music changes a fair bit, but i can safely say that my father indoctrinated new order and the broad genre of electronic music on me as a young child in the very early 90's. Since then i have been fond of the numerous sub genre's ranging from drum and bass, to dubstep, electro house, etc.

But it all leads back to the "old" new order.

We agree that there are two different types of New Order fans. What you and I don't agree with is what type of band was/is New Order. To you, it's old New Order = electronic and new New Order = alternative pop. I don't see it like that. New Order, old and new, is alternative rock AND electronic dance. Sometime, it's pure alternative rock ("Love Vigilantes), sometime it's electronic dance (Rounad and Round) and often times, it's a mix of both (Temptation).

I love New Order and I really like the variety that they have used for the album "Waiting for the Siren's Call". It shows true artistic ability when a band is able to shift their sound over several genres with relative ease. But deep down they are still New Wave.
