well i for one do not like to play on a 2d screen, and chess titans like program doesnt really help all that much either. its hard for me to understand whats going on in the game unless i have a physical board, without the computer there to distract me. and sensory boards are a bit expensive sometimes, but the novag centrine can be a sensory board if you want, it can also be a standalone chess computer. at this point in time i think it retails for 350.
It's pretty cool and all, but the only difference between this and doing the same thing with a regular chess board is it automatically reads your moves and plays them on the computer screen. But it's not as if you could play a real timed game since you have to play the moves on the real board yourself. So, is it really any better than just saving some money and playing your own moves on the computer, and using a regular board? You could even find some kind of voice recognition program to do it.
Great thing, but for home-only use not very practical.

@ismeto There are those who have trouble understanding a composition when seeing it on 2D. For these people, this is a solution.
