I´m in a long distance relationship. I´m in Germany my boyfriend lives in the US. It´s not easy to handle it but I think when you really love each other you can make it. Ours was long distance for 4 months, but I went out to him twice and he came and visited me twice and we were always on the phone, always on some kind of video program [icuii back then, skype didn't exist] and what not. We made it work.

Saw each other once a month, sometimes stayed with eacher for 2-3 months at a time. In the end, it was just not the same. I was in a long-distance relationship for nearly five years. I personally would not recommend it; it's true that you need to be there constantly for each other, which we tried to do. Saw each other once a month, sometimes stayed with eacher for 2-3 months at a time. In the end, it was just not the same. I'm happily with someone perfect for me who lives in the same area, and now we live together, and have been looking at engagement rings. I don't regret the last 5 years; I learned a lot about me

before i give my opinion on long term relationships i would just like to say i watched your five year anniversery video and i respect you so much now. Anyway! lol ermmm in my expirence long term did not work for me at all, i don't think it's impossible to have a long term relationship but sometimes it gets a little too frustrating when you can't actually be with that person. Yeah. That's what I do with my boyfriend. We live over 600 miles apart, and we are on skype all the time. It's hard, but it's the best way we can talk.

Ive been in a long distance for one year and one day :) I spose you kinda get used to it after a while, well if you can see each other atleast once a month, but for people in school (like me, well not anymore form today :D) its best to see each other in school holidays :) Just my opinions, hope they help ! xx

Hey :) I am also in a long distance relatioship. We have never as we are 16 and he lives in Canada while i live in the UK. Its hard but talking on Skype everyday really helps :) Hopefully we get to go to university together but if we dont then we wil probably meet in the holidays and finally see eachother.
