Rogue Government - The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed HR 1955 titled the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007. This bill is one of the most blatant attacks against the Constitution yet and actually defines thought crimes as homegrown terrorism.
If passed into law, it will also establish a commission and a Center of Excellence to study and defeat so called thought criminals. Unlike previous anti-terror legislation, this bill specifically targets the civilian population of the United States and uses vague language to define homegrown terrorism.
Amazingly, 404 of our elected representatives from both the Democrat and Republican parties voted in favor of this bill. There is little doubt that this bill is specifically targeting the growing patriot community that is demanding the restoration of the Constitution.

He always looks like he breaks out in laughter any moment. It must be hard to say ridiculous things with a serious face all the time, even for a well-trained actor.
Richard Mellon Scaife (born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American billionaire and newspaper publisher. Scaife owns and publishes the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. With $1.2 billion, Scaife, a principal heir to the Mellon banking, oil, and aluminum fortune, is No. 283 on the 2005 Forbes 400.
Scaife is particularly well known for his financial support of conservative public policy organizations over the past two decades, such as in the Heritage Foundation.
Scaife has provided support for conservative and libertarian causes in the U.S., mostly through the private, nonprofit foundations he controls: the Sarah Scaife Foundation, Carthage Foundation, Allegheny Foundation, and until 2001 the Scaife Family Foundation, now controlled by his daughter Jennie and son David. Scaife also helped fund the Arkansas Project, which ultimately led to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton.
When Bush speaks of freedom he is telling most Americans, "liberty for me but not for thee. The neoconservative agenda of "shock and awe" is alive and menacingly well. Directive 51 will give this new Hitler the dictatorial powers he so craves to push the neocon agenda through. The Constitution will be past history if the neocons get what they want.
Heritage employs public policy analysts who generally produce short policy papers.
Heritage Foundation personnel have included Richard V. Allen, L. Paul Bremer, Elaine Chao, Lawrence Di Rita, Michael Johns, John F. Lehman, Edwin Meese, Steve Ritchie and others.
The foundation was instrumental in advancing President Ronald Reagan's belief that the former Soviet Union was an "evil empire" and that its defeat, not its mere containment, was a realistic foreign policy objective. Heritage also played a key role in building support for Reagan's plans to build an orbital ballistic missile shield, known as the "Strategic Defense Initiative".
In the 1980s and early 1990s, the Heritage Foundation was a key architect and advocate of the "Reagan Doctrine", under which the United States government supported anti-Communist resistance movements in such places as Afghanistan, Angola, Cambodia and Nicaragua and generally supported global anti-communism during the Cold War. Heritage foreign policy analysts also provided policy guidance to these rebel forces and to dissidents in Eastern bloc nations and Soviet republics.
In 2006, the Foundation established the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, based on a grant from the Margaret Thatcher Foundation, to promote United States/United Kingdom cooperation and to advance the transatlantic alliance between the two countries. Lady Thatcher has since been named Patron of the Heritage Foundation, her only official association with any U.S.-based group. In addition, Heritage has a Moscow office staffed by Yevgeny Volk.
great, more bush with his nazi propaganda..and fascist brainwashed heritage foundation members, (ie Lynn Cheney's organization) makes him look like he has enthusastic support outside his narrow elite group of right wing ideologues... he doesn't IMPEACH THIS ASSHOLE.
In 1973, businessman Joseph Coors contributed a quarter-million dollars to start The Heritage Foundation. Since then, money has come from the founders of Amway Corp. and the conservative Bradley, Olin and Scaife foundations. Billionaire Richard Mellon Scaife and other wealthy individuals also have been Heritage Foundation donors.
The Heritage Foundation's initial funding came from political conservative Joseph Coors, co-owner of the Coors Brewing Company. Funding from Coors was later augmented by financial support from billionaire Richard Mellon Scaife. Conservative activist Paul Weyrich was its first head. Since 1977, Heritage's president has been Edwin Feulner, Jr., previously the staff director of the House Republican Study Committee and a former staff assistant to U.S. Congressman Phil Crane.
The Heritage Foundation is one of the most prominent conservative think tanks in the United States. Founded in 1973, it is based in Washington, D.C., in the United States. Heritage's stated mission is to "formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense."

The Constitution will be past history if the neocons get what they want.

goddamn. give up with the "evil" references, "hitler" references, "stalin" references etc.
Give up on the "Jew" rhetoric. Americans don't give a shit about that shit. Fuck them because we aren't Israeli.
We need more code pink protestors and less of these cherry picked audiences.
It's time for Congress to counteract everything this man does.

That's a stepping-stone bill.
It does not criminalize anything.
Could it get bad, sure.
Does it in this bill? No.
Take the tinfoil hat off, please. The government (GOP+DNC) is going to screw you - it will be through a much more effective means than H.R. 1955.
