i love the mpc but with computer based sequencing, i just can't get down with staring at a 3" LCD screen all day anymore. cubase on a 57" hdtv is just so much better than hunching over all day

How do I set the contrast on my mpc 1000, through my JJOS OS. It is just to light, and I need to set it a tad bit darker so I won't have to strain my eye sight. Could anyone help.

1.24 OS has autochop thats not a feature JJ made, and you can assign an manually chopped or auto choped samples across the pads creating a whole new program in 1.24 OS too

Great tutorial! Just purchased the JJ OS and it's ridiculous! I was considering purchasing a MPC 2500 because of MPC 1000's original OS shortcomings. But with the JJ OS, it allows a work flow just as compatible as the MPC 2500! Lovin' it!

well, I expect the best way is to BUY jjos1 and then PAY FOR the upgrade to 2. If i was the japanese jenius i'd be a bit pissed off that people are trying to scam me out of all my hard work in order to escape paying a few $€£s. If you're that hard up, most communities have charitable organisations that support the arts; ask them to buy you the jjos...
