  • Why am I watching this... IN FEBRUARY?

  • MOST. UNDERRATED. MOVIE. EVER. HANDS. DOWN!

  • honestly did the island have anything to do with the second one? not really

  • OMFG! I used to adore this when I was younger and I finally found it so I can watch it again!! :')

  • i liked the first movie more. the characters looked better and not so... idk

they should have made it like the first movie. :(

  • the animation is like Ratatoiong and little cars.....

  • I watch this movie every christmas, and christmas day is tomorrow!!! :DDD

  • This really takes my mind off of when Bumble was scary. Now, he's nice and sweet! But I like the old movie too. :)

  • Stop hating on the animation, this movie is still a classic as well. Your ruining childhood memories.

  • the toy taker :/

    hmmm catchy

  • That's some quality CG there bro.

  • This is a great movie and all, but I find it sad that college students can make better looking animations then this.

  • Favorite Movie Of All Time,

  • Thank you so much, I live far from home and can not see the christmas shows here. Does not seem Christmas without the great shows ...THANK YOU

  • the way the doll walks creeps me out

  • @zambe1294 Why did u watch it in Icelandic?

  • I love the story line and agree I like the way they made them sound the same but I wish some of the anima had followed a little closer to the original movie especially the snowman and made rudolf's horns a little bigger

  • lol it's so weird watching this in English .. I always used to watch it in Icelandic when I was younger :P

  • these animators should stick to veggietales...

  • call me a stupid hater but this was a disgrace. rudolph the red-nosed reindeer is a classic. DON'T TOUCH IT HOLLYWOOD.

  • This movie couldve been better if the animation was better and the pacing wasnt as bad. That, and after watching this, they ignore major plot points from the original stop motion movie, but for some reason remember minor things. Although, Im just being nitpicky here

  • Wwwwwwwtf animation =P

  • oh mi inafancia xD

  • I got this on DVD in the Daily Mail a few years ago. Thanks for uploading!

  • @beccacox98

Don't read the Daily Mail. Just... DON'T. It's a bunch of crap.

But at least they gave ya an alright Chrastmas movie. :)

  • @GoaGreena Luckily, I don't. My mum gave it to me with a bunch of other free films.

  • I think the film makers should have made this film a stop animated film like the original.

  • i got bored so i typed this in. thumbs up if you did too

  • theGo0DNiTeSHOw

  • this is my childhood christmas movie love this man thanks .

  • Why'd ya upload this in June?

  • @SomeFluffer64 Christmas is in June now mate :)

  • @ApostleCreed10 nice saying

  • it was an ok sequel but i like the stop motion better than cgi

  • My mum and dad were on about this the other day and they said that I constantly watched it for three years non stop !

  • I remember watching this when I was 7 and me and my guy friends whould pretend were the characters(Me as Clarice, Aaron as Rudolph, and Camdon as Hermie)

  • I preffer the original

  • this is video game animation. lol.

  • When mr and mrs claus are dancing :')

  • wtf is this crap?

  • Screw clarice .. zoey is the love of his life

  • I havent watched this since I was little and now I realise how awful it actually is... But I still love it -3

  • Rudolph and Zoe forever!Curse Clarice!

  • i do

  • its donder, people. get your facts straight.

  • I saw this movie alot in my childhood (before I even went to preschool)

  • by the end of the original movie they were already a couple and rudolph had bigger antlers.

  • thumbs up if your watching this christmas movie in October =D

  • I just love this movie, Oh Btw, I think that rudolph and clarice make a cute couple, I wonder what they will looklike when they are grown-up?.

  • this movie is not better then the 1998 movie, no this movie is bad, the animation is not god at all.

  • @collectiondude100 You're right, this movie was fucking terrible. But....it was a part of my childhood. :)

  • This movie needs a good riffing - along with Elf Bowling the Movie! A bad Christmas CG film double riff spectacular!

  • Can you upload song wich is in the end of this part?

  • This is aparently in some cases considered a sequel to the 1998 film. WTF were they thinking?!?! It's clearly based on the much earlier version, so how could they promote it like that. No wonder GoodTimes entertainment went bust.

  • @Tozzywozzy01 because it's by GoodTimes and the original is by Rankin/Bass. you can't promote a movie as a sequel to a movie you didn't make

  • I used to sing the songs to this. All the time.

I remember my favourite character being the evil/sad teddy bear xD

  • whoa, talk about bringing back memories. i would watch this all year round, one of my favorite childhood movies.

  • first of all, thank you for posting this video

second, who the hell is this snowman, they shouls have used the snowman from the original rudolph movie in 1964, you know, the one that looked like the KFC guy

  • IVE GONE BLIND FROM THIS CRAPPY ANIMATON!!!!!!!!!!

  • santas wife is taller than him. thats sad.

  • i used to loooooove this movie!

    hahah

  • Somebody put out a lot of blow or called in a lot of favors to get this made...

  • U know at least they made all the characters act look and sound the same unlike some sequals... Seriously! Have u ever seen Charlots Web 2! Returned the movie to blockbuster with a note to the bastard directors saying don't ever do something like this again! U ruined a great movie.... If I had known certain words back then I wouldve used 'em but u get the point!

  • @frowerhousestudios Disagreed, Comet for example has turned into a jerk of a coach and is not a proud reindeer anymore as he was in the original. If it were to me they would do a revision of Rudolph 2 and get more references to the first one, they mostly lack! 3D animation sucks, it looks not as charming and warm anymore as it did before!

  • @frowerhousestudios

I agree!! I was like, "What the heck!!! A five year old could have made a better movie!" I loved the first one. It's a classic!

I'm so glad they didn't mess up this movie. :)))

  • This is so bad it looks like Video Brinquedo made it......

  • this is the worst CGI I have ever seen.

  • Great, if this was a video game cutscene reel. Does not feel like a true Ruldoph sequel to me.

  • SDF

  • FFHFHHY

  • I never knew limited animation was possible in 3D.

  • Thank you so freaking much. I haven't seen this movie in years!

  • santa sounds like peter cullen

  • Comment removed

  • the bastard Kids in Africa don't have a lot to begin with don't go taking there toys!!!!!

  • if this was in thaaters,I think it would be in 3-D!=)

  • Something about this movie says "bad ripoff of a classic" to me. But maybe that's just because half the characters are bad CGI replicas of the characters from the 1964 movie and this movie wasn't made by the same team.

  • i think rudolph and clarice make a beautiful couple. who agrees with me?

  • @Sonicboi666221 I do.

  • here buddy whats the name of the song where rudolph and clarice are playing with each other outside santa's castle

  • Comment removed

  • @AnimalAnimeFan someone did heres just look up rodolph the red nosed reindeer part 1 1998 and yay i agree that ones better then this one but i like the rodolph and clarice couple better

  • @AnimalAnimeFan yes, it is rudolph the rednosed reindeer the movie from 1998 on youtube, i have just seen it. and its part 1-6, and his username is MasterEG93

  • @AnimalAnimeFan it is i just got done watching it(:

  • @277Jordan just found it, thanks =) it's my favourite version so far!!

  • @AnimalAnimeFan Someone did.

  • @lollypopkitty101 i know i just found it last week, thanks

  • @AnimalAnimeFan someone did

  • @AvaMarieCullen i know i found it thanks

  • The beginning of this film is kind of creepy......

  • @AnimalAnimeFan it is.

  • fail looks like this is on ps1

  • I remember when I first got this movie the animation looked smooth and clean, now it looks like an unfinished product. But I still love it anyway.

lol if you didn't know that i'm Spongefan1222

  • O.K., gotta ask. Anyone know the song at 9:17

  • What happened to Sam the Snowman?

  • I love Rudolph so much..but I just can't get into this. There's a kind of magic that's missing from this sequal... And I actually really miss the crappy stop motion of the original...

  • @MahBoi22 Thats whats missing

    SPAGHETTI

  • LOL, U hear a funny sound at 9:02

  • i have always loved this film and now i am 13. i beleive in santa and rudolph and know they are real

  • @Lukex1: Well, I hate to burst bubbles, but the real-life Saint Nicolas has been long-since dead and just recently, the voice of the Rankin-Bass Rudolph, Billie Mae Richards, passed away at age 88 on September 10th 2010.

  • @TherealRNO >:[ I think you are a spoil spout.

  • @Izzyscoolchannel101: No. I am a realist at times. Yes, I love these icons for what they represent and those who made them come to life, but I don't try and make something out of the unreal. Granted, I am a Muppet and Disney fan and am an avid cartoon watcher and comic reader, but yet, though I can suspend disbelief, I still realize the difference between what's real and what isn't. That said, I applaud those who still have Christmas in their hearts by believing in these characters.

  • @Lukex1: That said, they still live on with the babe Jesus, Jack Frost, Frosty the Snowman, and other holiday icons.

  • such great voice talent...the should have spent a few bucks and done the animation right; it looks like they got some art institute students to do it for the graduation project...

  • THE DENTIST IS OUT!?

  • Yet ANOTHER movie ruined by CGI. Hopefully Gremlins 3 uses the puppets!

  • @Izzyscoolchannel101 if u dont like it then y did u watch it? its just updated in animation. look alot better.

  • @helenhayden1995 'Cause I have nothing else to do, of course. :P

  • @Izzyscoolchannel101: If you don't like it, don't watch/read/listen to it. It's as simple as that. No need to come down on the throats of those who like it. Hypocritical given one of my own comments, I know, but I still applaud those who love heartfelt and sentimental movies such as this one, being of the simple mind myself.

  • @TherealRNO Look. I'm sorry for what I said, but next time, please be careful as what you type.

  • @Izzyscoolchannel101: Are you referring to the "bubble burst" comment I made or are actually wanting to converse with helenhayden, who's the one you were first discussing matters with (because I am not helenhayden, nor would they be me)?

  • get the blu-ray version of this! it would look awesome!

  • i love this movie so much and thanx for uploading and the graphics are very good for the time it was made

  • thanks so much for uploading this movie i been lookin for it :)

  • The worst in the series, but dosnt mean I dont like it.

  • Da Dentist Is out?!! lol XD

  • I Just Love Rudolph The Red-Nose Reindeer, He's Just So Cute and Adorable. Oh Btw I Still Can't Wait For Christmas.

  • I'm 14 and I still love this movie!

  • @Animonstar95 Im 12 and I definitely love this movie.I don't think anyone could blame us,we are living childhood memories all over again. And it feels great.

  • They should have gone with a sequel to 'The Movie rather then a sequel to the specials .

  • I love how Rudolph's nose glows whenever Clarice looks at him. That is so cute!

  • OMG that tune just after the party is from Noddy! Amazing what you can remember, huh? The old one I mean.

  • why was it called Rudolph and the Island of Misfit Toys anyway? They had very little to do with it. It COULD have been called Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer versus the Toy Taker or if you don't want to type all that into Google... Rudolph versus the Toys Taker. Also... why doesn't the melody affect the Toy Taker? (for those who have seen the end)

  • imagine someone comes out to get a glass of water..."Er... honey? The toys are on the fritz again..."

  • how come this one was computerized (CGI) unlike the first one which was just frozen pictures?

  • @Dinosaur9317 It wasn't frozen pictures it was stop-motion puppets. And it was so much better than this! CGI USED to be quite appealing but now it's just got annoying and ruins everything. It was okay when they used CGI for new films but remaking the classics in CGI, it's just not neccessary.

  • i thought clorias's father was cupit but i guess not i thought he was one of the flying reindeer

  • i thought clorias's father was cupit but i guess not

  • the teacups remind me of the ones in Beauty and the Beast lol

  • Stop Motion one is WAY better

  • rudolfs nose was so big they thought he was orthodox

  • I''m watching this and it's not even christmas. but i got the urge to watch it. i haven't seen this in years!

  • Got this on DVD Free as part of a daily mail UK scheme where you got a free christmas movie every saturday and sunday from like, November 1st...LOL

  • Is This On DvD?.

  • I used to like this movie, really cause at the time I didn't realize how horrible the CGI was.

The story is cute, it just was ruined by the CGI.

  • @CrystalJupiter The CGI isn't that bad..

  • Comment removed

  • THANK Y(+OU THIS IS MY CHILDOOD

  • WTF hav they done??!!! Ruined another Christmas classic with CGI! The snowman looks completely different as does Santa!

This is horrible! Watch the original puppet version of Rudolph or even the cartoon Rudolph the Movie! That's miles better than this crap!

I didn't realise how bad this would be!

  • one of the best christmas movies ever hands down

  • I saw this when I was about 4 or 5, and its so strange to see it again. It's soooo wierd. cause when I was a kid the toy taker scared me half to death, now I'm just like "Wow.....corny much?" Hahaha...but it's still fun to see it again! :)

  • Oh man. I'm not usually one of those people to compare the original movie to a sequel that came decades later but c'mon! I'll admit they try a bit to make the characters look like the old ones (except Santa, Mrs. Claus, and just about every other reindeer besides Rudolph and Clarice), but trying to replace stop motion gold with CGI doens't really impress me. The songs and voice acting and story itself are lacking too. And what's with Rudolph's nose. It doesn't shine liek a flashlight, it glows!

  • I really don't care all too much for this movie, I'm just watching it because of Rudolph and Clarice.

  • wats the name of the song at the end?

  • these toys kinda creep me out when they're alive especially that teddy bear...CREEPY!!

But maybe thats just the way i see it

  • i mean the heebie jeebier person

  • this is crap.

NOTHING can touch Rankin/Bass stuff ... NOTHING!

  • @StevenMcFlyJr: This IS Rankin-Bass. Only modern, since CGI endures currently whereas the stop-animation puppets never did last long, even during production of the specials.

  • I prefered the cartoon version...the CGI is alright, but...

  • rankin/bass are wonderful movies

  • CLASSIC RUDOLPH IS BAAACK!!!!! (Claps my chubby, cookie-greasy little paws together!)

  • cute

  • i like it

  • COOL!!!!!!

  • o no he took WILSON!!!!....wilsoooonnnnnnnn!!!!!!

  • Is the is the sequel to the 1998 Movie?!?! If it is, then this looks horrible.

  • It's the sequel to the 1964 stop-motion special.

  • Your GRANDPARENTS probably weren't even born when the first movie for this sequel was made.

  • Tsubahi: You must really young to say that, for most people's grandparents were around since before the 1940's, with the first Rankin/Bass Rudolph special to air in 1964. Really, the first Rudolph televised special was a 1944/1948 cartoon made by the Fleishers.

  • I dunno if I'm still "young" or not, but I was born over 5 years after this movie was first made. And, today's generation of kids' grandparents were probably also born around that time, too.

  • Tsubashi: The original was made in 1964. Most grandparents of 20-to-30-somethings were around before the 1940's. If you were born five years after this 2001 CGI sequel was made, then that would mean that you were born in 2006, making you only three years old from that date & I doubt you are that young.

  • LOL. Let's stop confusing each other.XD

My late grandparents were born 1920s to 1930s and I came along in early 1970s. So I was part of the generation who saw the classic 1964 Rudolph movie.

  • @Tsubahi: Listen to what I say for a change. THIS movie here--Rudolph & The Island of Misfit Toys--is a 2001 CGI sequel to the 1964 stop-animation Rankin/Bass classic. You said you were born 5 years AFTER this movie (the sequel) was made, making you born in 2006, since 2006 is 5 years after 2001, and to that end, I doubt you are that young, since most grandparents of we 20-30 somethings were around prior to the 1940's.

  • No, you're mistaken.

    I was born in 1971.

  • Why did they replace the Burl Ives Snowman with a Richard Dreyfuss Snowman?

  • good question I'll give an answer after me a group of 12 elite soldiers storm the compound in which this movie was made in

  • cool

  • my fav movie when i was little i always watched it over and over again on VHS

    :D
