Macedonia is Greek! Actually, people living in FYROM have nothing to do with the ancient Macedonic tribe, they are Slavs with strong Bulgarian, Albanian and Turkic influence, with their language being almost identical to the bulgarian one. Macedonia is Greek! Actually, people living in FYROM have nothing to do with the ancient Macedonic tribe, they are Slavs with strong Bulgarian, Albanian and Turkic influence, with their language being almost identical to the bulgarian one. I have passed through FYROM on my way to Belgrade some years ago and I was suprised at how turkish and soviet Skopia looked (Mosques and Commie blocks all over the place). If you want to see the REAL Macedonia come in Greece, visit Pella and Salonica. Peace!
