YES I HATE ESP! I Paid over $2,000 for my ESP SV standard, and i play my jackson and i can shred so much faster and better and still sound just as good, if not better! And my jackson is an RR24 So the LTD would fucking suck compared to the jackson. i'm sorry to say this, but you wasted your money buying that guitar, the Ltd one is a knock-off version that is a little cheaper than the real Alexi Laiho Signiture ESP which has different tuners, an original Floyd Rose, and a distortion boost button. Also it says "ESP" on the headstock and he only uses the ESP one, not the LTD.

I got this guitar basically because i really love how it feels and looks to me, though i payed a lil extra to get an pickup in it, i love using the neck pickup for soloing, thank god for ESP custom shop
@bluetseel Eh, I've had the privilege ov playing a Jackson SL2H and an ESP M-II. Both ov which were amazing guitars. Personally, I felt that the Jackson SL2H had a somewhat more "evolved" design and feel. Nevertheless, I prefer the ESP M-II as my main guitar. The ESP, somehow, seems to possess some kind ov explosive "energy/power" that the Jackson lacks. The ESP actually behaves like an extension ov my psyche. I'm sure that it's really just a matter ov personal preference, though.

it's one of the biggest mistakes that paying money to afford an ESP Signature Series Guitar. Most of the famous 'ESP' users do actually prefer Jackson or Gibson. For example, Alexi, he personally chooses Jackson but as long as ESP pays him to show like " Look! I'm alexi and I play ESP! ", he uses an ESP. or an other example, james hetfield's Iron Cross ESP. that guitar which james has is Gibson but ESP pays him to show that he's using an ESP, so we really think they choose ESP.

I used to love RR models but for some reason I'm addicted to V guitars now :D When I was a fan of RR models rr24 was my dream guitar, though. So I prefer king v models :P but OF COURSE rr24 is a kick-ass&high quality&very comfortable and sexy guitar. thanks for reply.

@ErgoDM Just for the record, Hetfield wanted a Gibson iron cross but Gibson told him to go home. He got pissed and disassembled the iron cross and sanded off the Gibson headstock. ESP makes amazing guitars, they may not be original but they often go beyond the original. Just remember, if there's something being well, there's an Asian doing it better.

You´re right that buying signature ESP guitars is a waste of money. If you are a normal guitarist i would take a standard ESP guitar cause you get an awesome guitar with the same settings as a signature model for 600-700$ cheaper.But if you see an ESP guitarist on stage you can be sure that he chosed the company.

The alexi-200 is much cheaper than this one because the alexi 600 has a neckthru body design, better pickups, and a better tremelo system. I seen it at the music store and it was like 1100 dollars but the new alexi 600s (scythe and blacky) are like 1500 dollars.

Why pay like 3000 bucks for an ESP Signature (!!!) model when you can pay 1000 bucks for a better guitar that's original? + ESP are fucking fakers, they copied Jackson's Rhoads shape and just slightly made the bottom horn longer and cut a little bit away at the neck to avoid a fucking lawsuit.

@karateman302 I wouldn't say most people prefer the ESP. A lot of people are just brainless nitwits that can't think for themselves. They think just because alexi laiho, this good but not great guitarist, uses this ESP they need to buy and ESP as well, and because they can't think for themselves they buy the Alexi model, not just a generic ESP which costs less. The Alexi guitars, spec wise, are NOT worth the money at all. You can buy a prestige Ibanez with better components for half the price.

@ErgoDM Dude you cannot say that buying Signature Guitars is a mistake.The guitar someone buys is because they like the feel the guitar gives them while they play! For example I would love to have a V or RR shape guitar BUT I KNOW it would be uncomfortable to play with! So the only thing I can say is that if you feel comfortable with a guitar buy it. And dont ditch on James dude, ESP is wayyyy better than gibson. ESP guitars have better sound for metal than Gibson. Especially Thrash. Peace \m/

@ErgoDM Just for the record, Hetfield wanted a Gibson iron cross but Gibson told him to go home. He got pissed and disassembled the iron cross and sanded off the Gibson headstock. ESP makes amazing guitars, they may not be original but they often go beyond the original. Just remember, if there's something being well, there's an Asian doing it better.

@ErgoDM no he played jackson before he chosed the ESP guitars. Of couse they have a bunch of other jackson guitars and he is playing ESP live cause he is sponsored by the company. You´re right that buying signature ESP guitars is a waste of money. If you are a normal guitarist i would take a standard ESP guitar cause you get an awesome guitar with the same settings as a signature model for 600-700$ cheaper.But if you see an ESP guitarist on stage you can be sure that he chosed the company.

Why does every guy here on YouTube that plays COB want to be like Alexi? Jeeez, they buy signature guitars and stuff and the funny part is... the guitar sucks 'cause of the 1 pickup. I have respect for Alexi, he's a fucking god but I hate wannabe's who want to be like him or even better and that's not possible. He's a good shredder and has an unique style and it's just a challenge for the guitarist to create an unique and own style of playing the guitar and only then... you are very good !

Next time.. Can you put YOUR sound lounder than the song, cauz I only can hear a bit of the solos you play, and as I hear.. You need more practice on this side. But the rythm aint bad, except fdor the hammer pull part during the verse. Concentrate a lil more on that. Keep up dude

The alexi-200 is much cheaper than this one because the alexi 600 has a neckthru body design, better pickups, and a better tremelo system. I seen it at the music store and it was like 1100 dollars but the new alexi 600s (scythe and blacky) are like 1500 dollars.
