Thank you for sharing this awesome video! I'm in love with the arctic and would love to like in northern Norway some day. Maybe around Tromsø or Narvik.
I'm curious, why did you chose to move to Svalbard? Are you still living there now? What's it's appeal to you? And where did you move from?
I lived there for one year to study and to write a book about it, maybe. Could be realized in a few years, but thats not sure yet. I live in Stuttgart, Germany now where my 'homebase' was before Svalbard. ;-)
i have visited svalbard, its locations like longyearbyen, storvola mountain, pyramiden, billifjorden and some more places, it is really a beautiful place.glaciers, and ice bergs in the sea, it is a very quiet and calm place. i think it is difficult to live there for years!! all time day, and all time night. but for a visit it is a best place to enjoy arctic envoirnment.
Svalbard itself isn`t too expensive. but it`s quite difficult to get there from Argentinia. But you have to feel all five seasons, so you have to live there for a full year.
Thank you for a very fine slideshow. You are lucky to live there.
:)

There has never been a train between Longyearbyen and Pyramiden. I have lived in Svalbard for 13 years.
