Jay Chou is an extremely talented musician, phenomenal actor/director, & artistic genius. No matter the genre or theme, he excels with power beyond contemporary standards. For the most part, American singers just lack that special, natural quality that Chou has, even with their studios that perfect their voice and synthesize bad vibrato. I wish Asian culture was more recognized in the States, our radio stations could use some actual music!

If music were all about lyrics, then we would be satisfied listening to speeches. The frequencies, pitches, and rhythms in a piece are equally important as the words. Sacrificing translation isn't that bad when you can feel emotion within the sound.
