  • @guitargeek1122 We talked about it. We would have been challenged in cooking, maintain two computers in the space, no washer/dryer, etc. And we didn't have a place to park it at the time. All those things could have been solved with more planning but we already had a lease in an apartment and were planning to have kids at some point. It just wasn't going to be the optimal situation for us. I made the modular sink.

  • why sell it? I would live in it. and where did you get the sink thing?

  • Heating/cooling is up to the occupant. I used a space heater when I was using it early in the morning. Once the sun warmed things up, I didn't need it anymore. The hot plate for the hot water was enough to keep it warm.

  • Impressive. What is the source of heat for the HVAC?

  • This is my new dream house! I'm in love!

  • Nice tiny house, the front door is squeaky though put some oil on those hinges man!

    :D

  • Legally, it's a vehicle - it has a vehicle title. In Austin, if you're storing a vehicle, it has to be behind a 6 foot wood or masonry fence.

  • Looks good.

Where can you put a Tiny House in Austin? Will the city allow you to put a tiny house on a lot?

  • @sdn90403 I have a tiny house in Austin, and I'm just staying in an RV park. Not sure if they'd let you put it on a lot or not.

  • Looking good!!!!
