s2k raped that sol guaranteed. my buddy had a turbo civic si b16 making about 250-260hp and my s2k kept up and I was only about 70% throttle..... now he has a s2k too :P
Yeah, lets see... weight advantage - S2000, power advantage - S2000 (F20C produces 80 more horse and 40 more lb-ft of torque than a stock USDM B16, I/H/E won't make up that power difference), drive train advantage - S2000 (RWD is more efficient than FWD, FWD is just more economical and practical for daily driving).
In the end, the stock S2000 still held all the cards, there was no comparison.
Well a sol is an easy quick build project I own one and its 0-60 is about 5.5 sec and I havent done much to it in fact ive done nothing but good plugs and wires so far. however you still wish you had the rwd sometimes.
GOOD SHOW ol CHAP!! ha ha!!! i have a del sol that looks almost exact until i sold my carbonfiber hood and raced a black s2000 and it went about the same as far as the race... turbo that delly and he wont know what hit him. i even have a turbo and manifold for ya!!
