I love to hear her minister...Runs and all. I don't think they would have asked her to come and told her to leave a portion of herself (her vocal abilities & expression) outside. That's unrealistic and crazy to "wish singers didn't sing like we know them to". This is a BEAUTIFUL song!  I'm happy she is a part of it.

I completely agree with you. They invited her BECAUSE of what they know GOD has blessed her to be able to do. She doesn't just sing she MINISTERS! I just pray she's OK. She seems to be gaining a lot of weight & I'm concerned. It's either medical or just good living...but all that weight is not good. ***AND let me put this out b4 I'm attacked by anyone...I'm a big girl, so this isn't criticism...just true concern! yes..actually to know her personally is to know that her personality ranges much larger than just the voice. if she had no voice and still would preach and teach the way she does she would be just as effective..its just that the gift made room for her and now she really can speak into your life without ever having to sing a note but i tell you from personal experience get to know her and see for yourself she really is a wonderful and loving spirit and a joy to hang with

Kims voice reminds me of an alto saxophone or viola. Very few people have or can attain the melodic nature of her voice. Indeed, it is a well-tuned instrument, masterfully played. In that, she is peerless, unparalleled. Certainly, most people only or disproportionately appreciate/emulate the riffs&runs, but with respect to this song--as an example--the best parts [to me] are those that are without riff&runs.

Awesome. I wasn't a Kim Burrell fan in the beginning. I liked her music but I didn't go crazy. Well, Kim Burrell is something to be crazy about. I love her because she can minister in any setting. She didn't do too many runs but killed. Anointed, Different, and Poised: amazing!
