  • Lovely video!

  • Very interesting I find the level crossings in Great Britain, for example at 08:06

  • @WoelkerVideo They can be interesting and different in some places! Next to the one you metioned used to be a gate keepers small house where a man would come out and manually operated gates across the road when a train was coming. The small house was replaced by a fine new one last year.

  • Wonderful part one Mike, I was intrigued at the white spot of light when you looked out of the front window....was it a reflection from your watch or an UFO perhaps?....Bob

  • @robmasterman Could it be a UFO? All sugestions are of interest!

  • Excellent vantage point Mike.Seemed to be a rickety ride in some parts. Loved the comment "Hold tight please". Looking forward to part two.....Tim.

  • @siobhan104 Hi Tim! The Mrs was just teasing, as she knows i spend a lot of time watching classic bus videos!

  • Nice to be sat up in the front, nice video Mike.

  • @timetochill666 It was quite fortunate I had the camcorder with me! I hadnt intended to take a video that day Dave. There was no passenger beside the driver and the glass was clean so there we go!

  • Excellent video. have been on this unit. Miss the cravens, park royal and gloucester units though. ian

  • @iantrack They all have their particular fans! I do remember a different DMU running on the WSR some years ago but am unsure which make it was. I expect someone can tell us!

  • Nice to watch Mike, made a change sat more or less in the drivers seat, that first station at Dunster brought back memory of stopping there 2 weeks ago in the village at a Tea Room where I had Devon Cream Tea with Honey and devon Cream , beautiful, by the way re tripod just put in to Youtube..Hague mini camcorder stabaliser , looks a good investment, look forward to part 2

  • @howarth004 Hi Dave. Thanks for replying! Better watch out for those who would be upset by reading that Dunster is in Devon! West Somerset is the area and you had Somerset cream! ( Just kidding! Its probably all processed in London anyway, so it doesn't really matter!)
