You indeed do have an amazing voice, but one remakr. The song is a really sad sounding and your voice is a bit too sharp for that. You put a lot of volume in it, which isn't bad, but just not good for this song. I think that you should choose other songs; perhaps Evanescence or something in that category. You played the piece very well. I think you didn't use a pedal, but it can often come in very handy. It makes everything sound like a whole if used properly.

You have a beautiful voice. Do yourself a favor and listen to a version of this song not done by Rufus. While I appreciate his version his pronunciation is off, and the whole last verse is a mess.

Eramus:

Careful when using "sharp" as an adjective in music. lol.

While the song in general is a Lament, it needn't be sad. It's about forgetting your woes for a moment of happiness, even if only with some malnourished waif. The sadness is in the chorus and end only.

Oh. Em. Gee. I know I've probably commented on this before, but I just have to say again that despite what you have to say about your voice, you sound amazing. Such a sweet and pure tone to your voice, and almost Amy Lee'ish sounding. I would LOVE to hear you do My Immortal by Evanescence.
