i was riding with my grandpa to the pool, but it was closed. 'why is it closed? its a nice sunny day outside.' i said. 'OnLy ThE sHaDoWmAn KnOwS.' he replied. i asked him what he meant, and he said it was an old time raido horror show. these things are awesome!!
I remember when I was 5 or 6 lstening to an episode of "Inner Sanctum" that scared the hell out of me. It involved a hangman (and a blood-curdling shriek).

Radio could do a lot more than TV when it came to horror. Also using one person for many roles and voices.........and work on your imagination.
