My dearest Rich, yes u look tired and so do I as a nurse. I will keep trying to help healing and trying to comfort their pain-- that's why we look tired-- we will always sacrifice our lives to help mankind for God's work--it is a priviledge, God--thank u for letting me help the sick. Amen
Lots of people comment on how tired he looks, but if you remember from, I think, part 5 he said "Man, if I didn’t look tired you should pray for me. I would have had to made a deal with the devil to not look tired. I deserve to look this way. I’ve abused myself as much as possible the last 20 years....which is fine with me. ‘Cause I figure sooner or later life’s gonna kill us all, you may as well go out doing something that you love to do."

Gracias Mark Jackson por subir el concierto completito de Rich Mullins... lo vengo viendo casi dos horas seguidas y es lo máximo... Me maravillo de escuchar a los ministros de Dios y como Dios da el talento a sus hijos amados.
Rich was, and still is, one of my biggest heroes. I greatly admire the life that he lived. He had such an incredible heart for Jesus. But now that he's with Jesus, the size of his heart for God could never be measured. I thank God for the ministry that was the life of Rich Mullins.
No matter how much Christain music changes, Rich will always be one of the best. Thank you for your music, Rich! I look forward to seeing you in Heaven!
cara sou do Brasil! parabéns pelos videos! não conhecia Rich mullins e o cara é muito bom! espero conhecer mais sobre ele e aprender tbm...Deus abençoe
Thanks so very much for posting these videos - they're wonderful! I was never fortunate enough to see Rich in concert, I sure wish I had. I very much look forward to hearing him in Heaven.
Thank you for this concert. You have not dropped any ball, just have a part (9) to go. All of your work is super. I, too, noticed how haggard he looked, and in one of his album songs he sings, " my heart is aging, I can tell." Curious, isn't that? Thanks again
The odd thing about that song is that it was on his first album and yet it rang truer the day he died than the day he wrote it. I guess it's one of those universal truths. This world will beat youup and spit you out and none of that really matters in light of what is waiting.
"Elijah" was the song and I think it was "re-released" when "Songs" came out. I had never heard it until then, and I believe it was the last song released/promoted as a single before he died. Even more interesting, the chorus asks "I want to go out like Elijah, with a whirlwind to fuel my chariot of fire". Elijah was there one moment, and in the next moment the chariot took him away. I think that is a poetic translation of Rich's death, as I understand the circumstances.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I heard a broadcast dedicated to Rich on the Top 20 Countdown with John Rivers (I think that was it, maybe not that exact title and name) and when Rich was asked why he rewrote "Elijah" he responded "because nobody listened". Haha, he wrote it again because no one listened the first time. I thought that was great.

That audience sounds better than at several concerts I've been to. What a neat, neat recording.
Won't it be cool when we all - all of us! - get to sing together?

Great stuff! It's a shame we never heard a "classic gospel" album from Rich.
